She heard him, and saw his smile. She, sighed. "I love you more, than any one, Jason. And, I didn't trust you, to tell you. I can never forgive myself." She, breathed in deeply. "Mikkos begged me, to let him tell you, himself. But, I was to afraid to let him. I just didn't know what to do."
She looked at him. "There's more about Dylan and Courtney. But, I should leave that to Monica. I just violated my lawyer's code and told you her secret. But, I just couldn't let you walk in there and get hit with everything at once." She, breathed in deeply. "You, can get angry at me, all you want to, Jason. You, have every right to."
Alan gave her a soft smile. "I would not be anywhere else, Monica. I was not going to let you do this alone. Even though, I know you're more than capable of doing so. You have been doing it the last few years. Not anymore."
Dylan nodded his head. "Yeah, it was hard. It was even harder for Monica and Jason. He was upset that she didn't trust him enough to tell him. She told him it was because she didn't want to lose him. Clearly, that didn't happen because they're still close as ever." He smiled softly at her. "You're right, we should get going." He felt her kiss and kissed her back. "Sure, you can drive." He chuckled as he grabbed his keys then went downstairs with her and smiled at Spencer and Alex. "We could not be prouder of the two of you." He hugged them and watched Courtney with Alanna.
Jason watched as she leaned into him. "It's okay. I completely understand why you didn't tell me. I could go after Mikkos and get revenge. It will be a no win situation. You'll wind up losing your father and your husband. Years ago, I would get my revenge and think that was more important than anything else. Now, I know better. I'm not risking my family for jail. You and the kids mean more to me than revenge." He smiled softly at her.
She felt his hug, and leaned against him. "I should have told you, when Mikkos told me everything that he did, Jason. I was afraid, that you would go after him. And, I didn't want anything to happen to, you." She, sighed, and looked up at him.
Jason watched as Alexis came over to him. He felt her hug and hugged her back a little bit tighter. He felt her as she held his hand and looked at her. After hearing that it was Mikkos who shot him that night, he closed his eyes. He opened them again and saw her on the bed crying. He walked over and sat down next to her and wrapped his arms around her as he pulled her close to him. "It's not your fault, Alexis. I'm not mad at you."
She looked at him, and smiled softly. "That must have been, so hard for you, Dylan. And, Monica. I guess, we'll find out." She, looked at him. "And, Jason and Alexis will be there too. Well, let's get going, so we can find out." She, grabbed her purse. "Can I drive." She, giggled went downstairs. "Kids, we're leaving now." Courtney went over to Alex, and Spencer, and hugged them. "Thank you boys, for always being here for us. She picked up the baby. "Who, am I holding." She tickled the baby, and listened to her laughing.
Alexis breathed in deeply, and walked over to him. She, hugged him tightly. Then held on to his hand. "Jason." She, looked down at the floor for a minute, then back up at him. "Mikkos, was the one, who … who …" She, took another deep breath. "Shot you, in the back. I'm so sorry." She sat down on the bed, and started crying.
Dylan was in the bedroom putting his tie on when Courtney came back in. He smiled at her. "We are so lucky to have 2 good sons who are taking care of their sisters." He chuckled softly when he heard what she said about the tie. He took it off. "No, Monica didn't say anything to me about what this dinner is for. Although, based on the tone of her voice. It reminded me of the time when she called Jason and I and told us about Nikki really being Susan."
Jason had grabbed his keys and put them in his pocket when he heard Alexis. He looked at her. "When I first asked Monica what caused the divorce, she told me she had to talk to Alan about it. Then when she called about this dinner, the tone in her voice. It reminded me of when she called me and Dylan to tell us about Nikki being Susan. It's had me thinking for quite awhile, the only reason she'd divorce Mikkos would be if he did something to one of us. Cause when someone does something to your kids, no matter how old they are, that's it. What did he do?"
"Sam, should be here, any minute, to watch the kids for us." She, looked at him. "Jason. I know what this dinner is all about." She took a deep breath. "And, why, Monica divorced, Mikkos. I've been afraid to tell, you. I'm sorry."
Courtney came back into their bedroom, and smiled at, Dylan. "I just checked on the girls. We have the perfect baby sitters. Alex and Spencer are so cute downstairs taking care of them. They're giving them their bottles." She walked up to him.
"Dylan. No tie." She giggled. "I wish I knew, what this dinner was about. Did Monica say anything to you."
Alan watched as Monica walked back and forth in the living room nervously. He went over to her and nodded his head. "I know you're scared, Monica. I am too. But, I feel that it's better to let them all know what was done to them." He took her hand in his. "How they react isn't up to us. But, we can help them and be there for them. It's going to be okay."
Monica was in the living with Alan. She was walking back and forth. "Alan, I am very scared right now. I don't know how Dylan or even Courtney is going to react. Are you sure, having Alexis and Jason come too is a good idea. I know that Courtney would like her mother to be here. I am just nervous, about Jason." She looked at him.
