Patrick laughed. "You're not kidding. I remember on Christmas Eve, I came by the house to give them their presents and you know Ashley and Traci, they had me stay for a little bit and we exchanged gifts. Then when you came in, I was getting ready to leave and they tried to get us to reconcile but it didn't happen. Until now." He smiled at him and nodded his head. "Yes, let's go back." They went back into the restaurant by their table and saw Alexis. "Hey Alexis."
Courtney looked up and smiled at Emily. "Emily, hi. Please, join us. I see Alexis is sitting down at Billy's table. You, can't say no to dessert." She giggled and watched as Emily sat down next to Dylan and Christine.
Jack smiled at Patrick. "I'm happy to have my little brother back." He nodded his head. "I think this definitely calls for a celebration. The Abbott Siblings are back together. When Traci finds out, it's gonna be like Christmas Day." He laughed.
Patrick gave Jack a soft smile. "Thank you so much for saying that, Jack. It really does mean a lot to me. I promise you don't have to worry about Phyllis. I love her more than anything. There isn't anything I would not do for her." He saw him extend his hand then took his hand and shook it. "Happy to have my big brother back. How about we go back to Billy and Ashley and share the good news?"
Dylan saw Starr come back over to them and smiled. "I think we might order dessert soon." Just then he saw Emily come over to him. "Hey Emily." He smiled and hugged her. "Emily, I would like to introduce you to my father, Paul Williams and his wife, Christine. Of course you already know, Courtney."
Billy shook his head. "Actually, Dylan is engaged to Courtney Matthews, the sister of Sonny Corinthos. Her and Chelsea just recently found out that they are identical twin sisters." He smiled at her. "Chelsea is still happily married to Adam." He saw Alexis come over to them. "Hey Alexis. No, Kristina is at home with the twins. I came here for lunch with Ashley, Jack and Patrick." He felt Emily's hug and hugged her back a little bit tighter. "Ashley, this is my mother-in-law, Alexis and Emily Quartermaine. Alexis, Emily, this is my sister, Ashley."
"Excuse me, Alexis. I'm going to say hello, to my brother. Hi, Billy. Long time, no see." She hugged him, tightly. "Hello." She said to Ashley. She walked over to Dylan. "Dylan. Excuse me. Hi."
Alexis and Emily were on their way out, when Alexis saw Billy, and stopped. "Billy. Hi. Is Kristina here with you. I don't see her." She smiled at him.
Ashley looked at him. "Dylan." She turned around. "I, didn't even see him. Wait. Is he back, with Chelsea again. I thought they were over for good." She turned back, to look at him. "I wanna go say hello. Like we do, back home."
"I know that now, Patrick. Like you kept shoving in my face how I did the same thing to Dad by sleeping with Jill. Only difference was he forgave me for it. Up until now, I didn't forgive you." Jack looked at him. "Phyllis and I were over for a long time. You were being a really good friend to her and it just grew into more. I'm happy she has you. You're good for her. Continue making her happy, little brother." He smiled at him then put his hand out.
Patrick was stunned to say the least after he heard what Jack said. "Wow, Jack. I uh. I don't know what to say. It wasn't that long ago that I went to you and basically asked for the same thing from you. Of course, you turned me down." He looked at him. "So, I decided not to push the issue any further. We enough of a rift between us. I remember how you paid for my tuition to medical school and I will forever be grateful. When I was in Genoa City, we were so close. You always protected me, helped me, gave me advice. Then I came here to Port Charles for ten years working at General Hospital and I even became Chief of Staff at one point.' He shook his head. "Then when I got the letter about being Chief of Staff at Memorial in Genoa City. I was torn because I would be seeing my family again in GC but I would also be leaving my family here. Ultimately, I took the job then I got into that plane crash. The rest is history as they say. Listen Jack, Phyllis and I never meant to hurt you. That was never our intention. I'm sorry. As for letting bygones be bygones goes, let's do it."
Billy watched as Jack and Patrick were on the balcony talking. He looked at Ashley. "Well, they're not killing each other. That's a good sign. Plus, if something were to happen, we have two cops here. With Dylan and Paul." He laughed as he took a sip of his wine.
Jack sighed. "Patrick, stop. You don't have to say anything. I'm the one that does. I've been a jerk the last few months. Especially to you. This has gone on long enough. When I found out that you and Phyllis were having an affair while her and I were still married last year, I felt betrayed by the both of you. Granted, things were over for a long time with Phyllis and I." He looked at him and leaned on the balcony. "You know, it's funny. I always told Billy to never let his anger towards Victor get the best of him. That's exactly what I'm doing to you. I never ever had a problem with you. I knew how much you wanted to be a doctor and when Noah couldn't pay for medical school, I did just so you could live your dream. Seeing what you've become, I couldn't be more prouder. It's time that we let bygones be bygones. I want us to start fresh."
