Curtis was at The Savoy sitting at one of the tables doing some paperwork when he heard Dylan and chuckled softly. He stood up. “Yes sir. You are looking at him. What may I do for you?”
The next day, Dylan stopped by the Savoy and saw Curtis sitting at one of the tables. “Hi, I was told that Curtis Ashford would be here. Have you seen him?” He smirked.
Drew nodded his head and smiled. “That’s right. I heard about that. Congratulations. Nothing but the best PI’s at that agency.” He saw everybody. “If I came at a bad time, I can come back. I just wanted to come and see you so we could catch up for a little bit.”
Curtis smiled at him. “Thank you. No, I didn’t change careers. I’m still a PI. I work with Dylan, Sam, Spinelli, Kevin Fisher at their PI agency. Cameron also works there and he is incredible. I just figured it was time to do something different. So, I decided to try the night club route. Everything is all set, just waiting on the liquor license so I can finally open up. Dylan promised to get that as soon as possible. How are you doing?”
Drew smiled when he felt his hug. He hugged him back a little bit tighter. “Thank you. It’s good to see you again too. So, I see you changed careers? Not bad. This place looks amazing. A lot of fun times to be had here. That is for sure. Congratulations. I wish you nothing but the best.”
Curtis smiled softly when he heard John. “It was my pleasure. You have come a long way since then.” He turned his head when he heard Drew and smiled. He went over to him and hugged him. “Drew, it is so good to see you again. I heard that you were back. You look great.”
John smiled at him. "You're welcome, Curtis. Of course, I would come by. You have been one of my best friends for a long time. You helped me during a rough time in my life and I will never ever forget that." He saw Dylan and hugged him and hugged Billy.
Dylan smiled at him. "You're welcome, Curtis. First thing tomorrow, I will make the phone call. Then hopefully you will have it within a few hours." He saw John. "Hey John, it's good to see you again."
“Thank you, Dylan. I appreciate that.” Curtis smiled at him then saw John. “Hey John. Thank you.” He shook his head. “No need to apologize. I completely understand. It means a lot that you’re here.” He took the medical kit and chuckled softly. “Thank you for this.” He put it behind the counter. “As soon as Dylan gets me the liquor license. This place will officially be opened for business.” He smiled.
John came to the Savoy to see Curtis and give him something. He smiled when he saw Dylan and Billy with him. “Hey guys. Private Party or something?” He asked with a smirk. He shook their hands. “The club is looking great. I have been meaning to come by sooner but I have just been so busy with everything. I wanted to give you this medical kit which includes a defribulator. Just in case you need it.” He handed it to him. “I wish you nothing but the best with the club.”
Curtis smiled at Billy. “I’m really happy for you.” He saw Dylan and smiled. “Hey Dylan.” He hugged him. “Only thing I’m waiting on is the liquor license so I can officially open.” He heard what he said and smiled. “Thank you, I appreciate that. It really means a lot. Since two of my best friends are here. How about a drink?”
Dylan smiled when he felt Billy’s hug. He hugged him back. “Hey Billy. It’s good to see you man. I just came as a friend and as the Mayor of course to see if there was anything you needed Curtis. The club is looking great. It’s going to be a huge success.”
Billy smiled at him. "Thank you. Yeah, I am lucky. Sharon is the best thing to ever happen to me." Just then he heard Dylan's voice. "Look who it is. The Mayor himself." He hugged him. "Hey Dylan."
