"Oh, really. I had no idea. That's great. Are there, any left overs." She, grinned at him. "I was thinking on the way over here, that we should have a little get together for our immediate families. And, then we can have a launch party for every one else, Dylan." She, smiled softly, at him.
Dylan smiled softly at her. “You’re welcome, Ella.” He nodded his head. “Sounds great. Looking forward to seeing what you can come up with. See you tomorrow.” He watched as she left. He then started to clean the table when he saw Avery come in and smiled. “Hey Avery.” He chuckled when he heard her. “Well, Ella came in asking for a job to work here as a baker. She even brought over some things for me to taste, which I did. They were so delicious. Long story short, I wound up hiring her.” He smiled.
"I'm going to go home, and start making a list for baking tomorrow. See you tomorrow." She grinned at him, and grabbed her things. "Bye." She, then left.
Dylan gave her a soft smile. “You’re welcome, Ella.” He nodded his head. “Starting tomorrow is perfect. Of course, you can hug me now.” He stood up and felt her hug. He hugged her back a little bit tighter.
Dylan nodded his head and smiled softly at her. “I’m looking forward to it, Ella. I will talk everything over with Avery. However, I think you might be able to start as soon as possible. I know that you will definitely be with us for the grand opening.”
Dylan chuckled softly when he heard her. “Well, I will definitely keep that in mind, Ella. Thank you.” He smiled. “We are going to love having you working here. I am looking forward to seeing what else you can bake.”
"Yes, Uncle Dylan. I can bake most anything. I can even make bagels." She, grinned at him. "Spike dared me. That was, his mistake." She, giggled. "But, you don't want, to put us, in the same kitchen. Cause one of us, won't be standing. And, that includes, the building." She, looked at him, and giggled.
Dylan gave her a soft smile. “You’re welcome, Ella.” He came back with the application and two cups of coffee. He handed her her cup then sat down. “No need to apologize for not telling me about you being a baker. It’s fine.” He took a sip as he listened to her. “Your dad is a really good man. You and Spike are everything to him. Awe, that is really sweet of you, honey. Spike is a baker too? I will definitely talk to him about it. Your dad taught you and brother well in regards to cooking. Can you make donuts too?”
"I know. I'm sorry, about that. No one else knows either. I didn't even get a chance to tell, mom. She was so surprised, and excited.
When I first got here it was crazy. Getting to know every one and school. When we were back in Pine Valley, I felt so bad for, dad. He worked all day, then he came home to cook for Spike and, me. So, I asked him if he could teach us how to cook. Spike is great, you should make him your baker too. His specialty is chicken. I mean who does chicken. Guys make burgers and hot dogs. Spike, can make, any chicken dish your want.
Thank you again, Uncle Dylan. Just tell me, what you want me to bake. Besides Aiden's cup cakes. We're not, to be out done by Kelly's or Crimson Lights." She, looked at him, and giggled.
Dylan smiled softly at her. “You’re a baker? I didn’t know that.” He went over to the table as he watched her put everything down. “This looks incredible.” He sat down and grabbed a fork then tried everything. “This is so good, Ella. Congratulations, you are hired. Just let me go and get your application to fill out.”
Dylan was at the bakery getting everything together for the real grand opening when he saw Ella come in and smiled softly. “Hi Ella. It’s nice to see you again.” He nodded his head. “We are hiring. Is there any specific position that you’re interested in?”
