*The Road to my father Cain *

Rosa thought she had a happy childhood she knew she had siblings all older than she was all more gifted then she was there were times in her memories she couldn't exactly tell you where her mother was but she thought that was normal. Rosa was placed in a private school with other gifted children. That is the world she knew but all of that will change when she turned sixteen. Olivia Rosa's mother would reveal who she really was And whose family she also belonged to. Rosa knew nothing of her father really she was told he was a powerful man from a very large royal family but his name was never given or where he was. She had been asking for years even asking her brothers and sisters no one would say a word only that when she was of age their mother would speak to her.

 

It was finally Rosa’s sixteenth birthday she of course had a luxurious birthday party but Rosa didn’t care about that even with all the gifts. She wanted to know who her father was she had to know him. Her party was just about to end when her mother asked to see her in the study. Taking a seat at the couch Rosa watched her mother walk around the desk nervously as if she didn't know where to start the conversation. “ mother I know you have something to tell me, just say it quick you’ll feel better" she looked at her seeing she had finally stopped. Rosa sat and listened as her mother began to tell her story and what had lead them to where they were now.

 

Rosa took a moment to remember when she first heard her father’s name come from her mother’s mouth “did you say Imperial majesty Cain Romanicus?!” her eyes grew big most of her siblings were his but she didn’t think she was for years she had the idea maybe she was like her sisters Raia and Raine but a Romanicus that blew her mind. Her mother said she had also sent word to Cain about their daughter and he would wait until Rosa was ready before making any contact. Rosa jumped up “when can I go meet him mother, can I go now" she was filled with excitement. Olivia explained she had to wait until graduation which would be in two years she wanted Rosa to finish school before making a drastic decisions. Rosa wasn’t happy but obeyed her mother’s wishes.

 

Finishing her school had taken what seemed forever but Rosa was done and ready to get to know the man she would now call father. She had a sent a letter first asking if she would be able to visit at his earliest convenience. Rosa planned to go on the next full moon. She packed what she needed, said goodbye to her mother and was off to Castle Romanicus. After a few plane flights she was getting close she drove up to the castle it was like nothing she had ever seen. She got out of her rented corvette and walked up to the door pressing the door bell once she played in her mind what she would say “Hello, I’m Rosa” when she realized it a tall man was standing before her she saw similar eyes as hers looking back….
