I′m The Best There Is...
........While often shrouded in mystery, Wolverine′s past is full of government secrets, traumatic events, and death. Born James Howlett, in rural Canada, the man who went by Logan for most of his life started out as a sickly child. His mutation did not present itself until he witnessed a violent death, and was forced to flee his home and live on the road due to the claws made of bone that sometimes protrude from between his knuckles.
........For a time, he lived amongst the beasts of the wilderness, before making his way to Japan during World War II. While there, he learned the ways of the Samurai to help calm his berserker rage, before another violent death triggered his return to his native country and the black ops program of Weapon X. There, they grafted Adamantium to his bones, erased his memory, and continued his warrior training, turning him into their fiercest soldier and ultimate achievement.
........Eventually he would meet Charles Xavier, who would befriend Logan and persuade him to join the third incarnation of the X-Men. From there, Wolverine has been in and out of many teams, drifting between his own agenda and those of leaders he believes in.

REGENERATIVE HEALING FACTOR
Wolverine’s primary mutant power has always been an accelerated healing process that enables him to regenerate damaged or destroyed tissue with far greater efficiency than an ordinary human. This process affords Logan many benefits in life, such as foreign chemical immunity to poisons and drugs, with the exception of massive doses. Immunity to all known Earthly disease. Superhuman stamina that allows his body to remain active for days, in some cases, months. It keeps Logan young, providing him with an extended lifespan. While well over a hundred years of age, he still retains the appearance of a man in his physical prime. Logan’s Accelerated Healing Factor has been described as a progressive mutation, meaning whatever doesn’t kill him quite literally… makes him stronger for the next time he has to face the same danger. The efficiency of his Healing can depend on a variety of factors, such as nourishment, and heart rate.
STRENGTH
Logan’s natural strength has over time, been augmented by both his Accelerated Healing Factor and the presence of over a hundred pounds of Adamantium bonded to his bones. Both of which allow him to push his muscles beyond the natural limits of the human body without lasting injury. The presence of the Adamantium has naturally increased his strength to levels where he can break steel chains, out power wild Grizzly’s, and support over a dozen men with one arm. He has enough strength to press in excess of eight hundred pounds, but no more than two tons.
ACUTE OLFACTORY SENSES
He can retain perfect clarity in total darkness due to his keen animal-like senses of sight, smell, and hearing. Logan can see and hear at far greater distances than any ordinary human, and detect a lie by the thump of a heart beat. He can detect and recognize people or objects by scent, even if they are well hidden. His sense of smell is so acute, Logan can track even the most eroded scents and bypass most weather factors with an extraordinary degree of success as well as detect chemical exchanges in an individuals body when they’re lying.
BONE CLAWS
Logan’s natural mutation has included six retractable bone claws into his skeleton. These claws are roughly one foot in length, and are naturally housed in his forearms, beneath the skin and muscle. Wolverine at will can release these slightly curved claws through the skin between his knuckles. Any bleeding is quickly stopped by his active Healing Factor. The claws themselves are made of bone, unlike most Mammal’s whom have claws of keratin. They’re naturally sharp enough to cut through most medals, wood, and stone.
WEATHER ADAPTION
Logan is highly resistant to elemental extremes, particularly the cold. To such an extent, he can sleep entirely in the nude in subarctic conditions with no apparent injury or ill effects.

AGILITY
Wolverine’s agility, balance, and bodily coordination are well beyond the natural physical limits and capabilities of the finest human specimen. He can simultaneously dodge enemy fire at point blank range while pressing his own attack, and navigate through crowds of enemies via a variety of coordinated flips.
PSIONIC RESISTANCE
Logan has undergone heavy training to protect his mind from psychic invasion, and while his mind may never be fully resistant, he has learned to use an embodiment of his rage known as The Berserker to instantaneously combat psychic invasion.
MASTER MARTIAL ARTIST
He is considered one of the finest combatants on Earth, in league with the likes of Captain America and Taskmaster. Logan is said to know every martial arts in the universe, some of which was learned through his long lifespan as Soldier, a CIA Operative, A Samurai, A Ninja, A Spy, and an X-Men. An exceptional hand to hand combatant, he is also well versed in pressure points, the art of espionage, assassination techniques, and the physical anatomy of every known creature in the universe.
MASTER TACTICIAN
Though seemingly brutish in nature, Wolverine is in fact highly intelligent in combat. His mind has been monitored and reported to work in conjunction with his body in a manner that is “Equivalent to an Olympic level gymnast performing a Gold-medal-winning routine whilst simultaneously beating four chess computers in his head.” While often underestimated, the sophistication of his tactical processing is in fact very efficient.
|||EQUIPMENT|||
ADAMANTIUM-LACED SKELETON
Not part of Logan’s natural Mutant attributes, his entire skeleton, including his bone claws, have been laced with a rare, artificial, and virtually indestructible allow known as Adamantium, or True Adamantium. In conjunction with Logan’s healing factor, the Adamantium was transformed into Beta Adamantium, which acts in much the same way but does not inhibit the biological process of bone. Aside from being indestructible, the presence of this metal has greatly enhanced the already razor sharp edge of Logan’s bone claws. His claws are capable of cutting most known solid materials, with the exception of Adamantium, Carbonadium, and Vibranium.
ABLATION ARMOR
Made for Logan by Otto Octavius when in loss of his famed Healing Factor. The Ablation Armor is meant to dramatically increase Wolverine’s durability without sustaining injury. While the armor can take blunt force trauma to halt injury and apparently a Nuclear reactor, it does not halt the impact, and Logan can still be knocked out by an incredible force. In addition, the armor also possesses strap on claw gauntlets to keep Logan from unnecessarily popping the natural claws housed in his forearms.
TRANSPORTATION
Often, Logan will utilize modes of transport ion such as the X-Men’s Black Bird, the Dove, his own 1969 Dodge Charger or his favored Harley.
WEAPONS
Throughout his life, Logan has used a variety of bladed weapons, most frequently daggers and, at times, swords; as a Samurai, he is especially skilled with the Katana. Logan has also utilized many different firearms throughout his career as a soldier, a mercenary, and a spy. While he is highly skilled with firearms, Logan favors bladed weapons.
|||WEAKNESSES|||
MURAMASA BLADE
Logan had the Muramasa created by having a piece of his soul infused into a Katana. The blade itself, halts all healing abilities on contact, insuring a killing blow. Even with his substantially advanced healing factor, Logan could not heal from a relatively superficial wound by the sword for several days, and had to keep it wrapped to prevent constant bleeding.
CARBONADIUM INGESTION
Carbonadium can slow the Healing Factor, but only while it’s ingested or piercing the body, and only the damaged tissue from which it is incidentally damaging.
OVERLOAD
While Wolverine’s famed Healing Factor is capable of taking an incredible amount of strain, without rest, it can be overloaded and systematically shut down for a time. The process to accomplish such a feat is incredibly unlikely and takes a systematic approach as well as strategically timed trauma to his body.
WATER
Logan has stated himself, he is very uncomfortable around big bodies of water. Though capable of swimming, he finds it difficult, and has confessed to water being able to kill him, via drowning.
ADAMANTIUM POISONING
Adamantium has proven to secrete a poison which stunts Logan’s Healing Factor. If he were to for whatever reason lose his Healing Factor, the Adamantium in his body can threaten his life. However, he has since obtained pills created by Hank McCoy that nullifies the poisons that would otherwise attack his body.
DECAPITATION
There is a theory that decapitating Logan will kill him. The effect of decapitation will cause his brain the inability to send signals to the sections of his body that are need of healing. The addition of an Adamantium-Laced skeleton has made this an extremely unlikely circumstance.
