Aisha’s Origins
The time- somewhere around 2235 Bce – the place, ancient Mesopotamia; between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, and close to the Zagros Mountains. During the reign of Naram-Sin.
King Naram-Sin had angered the God Enil, with his blatant disregard for the pantheon. Proclaiming himself god – incarnate, Enil deserted the opulent city and its inhabitants; where once the gods would have reigned down abundance – the city soon became poor. Still seething from this ‘betrayal’ the downfall of the city was not mere enough, and so Enil decided upon another ‘cull’ of the human population was called for.
A cull, that would last a millennia. A flash flood here, a plague there – although causes much devastation, it is fleeting in the grand scheme and the humans continued to pro-create. This devastation would grow, spreading the deepest reaches of the human world.
It was upon coming together with the Goddess Ishtar; who was on a vengeful tirade of her own, after being rejected by the human Gilgamesh. The two came together, if somewhat temporarily, and from their brief union Ishtar bore a child. The child was born, and was unlike any other human female, but nor was she like any other Goddess. Their union fuelled by anger and vengeance – Aisha was unlike any other creature. She grew at a rapid rate, and reached maturity within a week, within a month she was as she is now...
Her beauty was that of the Mother she knew not. Discarded by both parents, for she became a means to an end. There were no attachments of love or sentiment between the trio. Looked after in the early days by servants of the Gods, they say to Aisha’s needs; an unusual taste, for blood, fresh animal blood. If she didn’t get her fill she would become weak. In the first few hundred years she catered only for her base needs. Survival. However she came to the realisation that she was capable of so much more, and that fresh human blood sated her much more. She then realised that given the right amount of blood, humans could make the transition to a slither of what she was. This was what she was meant for, she felt it deep within. She could give life; of sorts or take it away! And so Vampyre kind spread the continent and then the world. Aisha became the Mother of Vampyre kind; A weapon born of two vengeful Gods; against humanity.
