Blinking, he shrugged and headed over to his hut. “Alright, well, I’ll have food and drink for you if you want any.” The three days passed, the faun watching the other work, going about his day to day business tending to the small garden he’d started up there, harvesting vegetables before a deep freeze hit. Every night he built a fire, every night he had food as he promised. “Can I get you anything?” he asked on the third day, sitting on a stool outside of his hut, chewing on a stick.
The other′s kind offer was a pleasant surprise. "Wow, thank you so much! I can help you build, and I insist on having you over for dinner as a token of my thanks for your help."
"Wow, and gods are supposed to be smart." He took a quick look around him as if he were possibly being watched. Rising to his feet (well, hooves), tail flickering back and forth, he pointed towards a small hut not far off. "I′m staying there for the time being. Would you like something to eat? I′ve got these great berries I picked this morning."
"Oh?" His expression was one of curiosity as he sat down with his back against a tree, one leg lifted to remove a stick caught in his hoof as he observed the other. "Who was the dumbest of them? Though I imagine most would be dumb."
"You're certainly a big one, aren't you?" the faun remarked with a touch of amusement to his tone. "I can't imagine you get too much trouble from people passing through, hm?"
With an upbeat air to his presence and a smile, the faun approached Biarco, bowing in greeting. "Thank you for your generosity. It′s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Zoh."
