Kara Nightscale
History...
A once powerful house and name within the Dragon community, the Nightscale clan was among the most revered with its Dragon′s usually identified by the light purple/pink colouring. However during the great hunt (the period through which humans and other species hunted and captured the dragon species) the family was reduced to only a few.
By the time Dragonia was resurrected only three survived with all of their history lost. However their remained hope. One of the remaining Nightscale′s, Calissa, was pregnant and gave birth to a young girl. Kara.
Living in the shadow of the Osiris and Firelight families, Kara′s family raised her to believe that she was destined for greatness and by the time she had matured the small but devious and ferocious Dragon girl was certain that her family would again rise to the top... And then came the Saber War.
During an attack by Dark Moon forces, Kara′s mother and Grandfather fought to defend the Kingdom, earning recognition as heroes and again bringing credit and honour to the families name. In the process however they left Kara alone.
Profile...
Her life long drive to bring attention and respect back to her family suddenly realised at the expense of said family, the young Kara was left without direction. Already known for having a chip on her shoulder this intensified as she denied any sense of grief.
Plucky, resourceful and at times manipulative, Kara is capable of getting whatever she wants and whilst she lacks cruelty or malice she will often see the ends as justifying the means and especially will capitalise on the dragon following humans adoration.
Her Dragon form is usually a pink colour with occasional green flickering. Still young her dragon form is smaller than most, around double the size of a horse. Her flight is capable however she does not breath fire, instead like all of her family breathing a mist that can have varying effects on the mind from causing suggestibility to hallucinations and mania.
