Supernatural Storyline
Her father Vincent, is a very powerful seraphim who was consumed by pure darkness and turned into something monstrous. During his many years on earth, he had found a way to procreate with other species and so he began to experiment, mating with every type of species that he could, trying to create the perfect weapon. Vincent has been around for so long that his connections were endless. There was nothing that happened on earth that he didn't know about. He was even close friends with Lucifer, the devil himself which gave him an army of demon's if he needed it. He wouldn't hesitate to kill anyone who would defy him or stand in his way.
Her mother Amelia, was one of heaven's purest angels. She was sent to earth to watch over and protect the humans. She was their queen, pure royalty. One night Amelia and her men were ambushed by Vincent. Her men were killed and she was raped. She was rescued by a human Hunter by the name of Demitri. Once she found out that she had become pregnant that terrible night, she went into hiding with Demitri.
A few months down the road Amelia gave birth to two baby girls. The woman who had delivered the babies for her happened to be secretly working for Vincent. So when Amelia was in labor the woman slipped her a drug, knocking her out long enough to deliver the first child and pass it off to Vincent before she woke up or anyone returned. It was such a success that Amelia truly believed she had only one child. However, Amelia passed away shortly after, but not before she made Demitri promise to take Catalina and raise her as his own, away from this dangerous place, far enough where Vincent would never find her.
Demitri took Catalina and his nine year old son, Roman from England, and ended up in the Northern territories of Canada, the lands that were still untouched by man. With the help of a few friends he built a log cabin for the family deep in the forest and had a few witches place a barrier around a good portion of the land so that no one could come in. He raised the children in the forest, away from civilization. He taught them everything he knew starting with their homeschooling, he taught them how to cook how to hunt for their own meal, how to survive on their own. When they were old enough he began training them in the art of combat. He never explained to them why he trained them, only that the world was a very dangerous place.
The moment Vincent realized he needed both girls to make the perfect creation he sent Freya on a mission. On her seventeenth birthday Catalina's twin sister Freya tracked her down. She arrived with a large group of hellish creatures created with Freya's blood. Freya revealed the truth about who she really was and that Demitri had kidnapped her from them. Catalina refused to believe the woman until she revealed her face, staring at her own reflection she had no choice but to believe her. And since Demitri had never really explained to her what happened to her mother and always kept secrets that she lost faith in him. Sadly, Freya wasnt just there for a family reunion. In order to awaken the demon inside of her she had to kill someone. So Fryea slit Roman's throat and smeared his fresh blood across Catalina's lips. The cut wasnt deep enough to kill him but, the moment she tasted human blood for the first time she turned into a monster. Her sapphire eyes turned a blood red, and sharp fangs dropped from her gums. Before she knew it she was sinking her fangs into Roman's neck tearing into his neck in a feeding frenzy. All the while Freya walked over and ripped Demitri's heart from his chest.
Getting her fill of blood Catalina finally snapped out of her trance and glanced over her family's dead bodies. She was so traumatized and filled with so many emotions that a powerful wave of pure white energy exploded from her body knocking Freya and her men back long enough for her to escape into the night. She ran beyond the barrier and kept running, ending up somewhere in America. She was lost, scared and alone in a new unknown world with abilities she didnt understand or know how to control. She was constantly on the move, adapting to the world around her the best she could while in hiding from her sadistic family. She was searching for more answers on what she was but had to be extremely careful.
