She opened up her heart to him and he did the same in the day of knowing each other. A few weeks had passed before a knowing wind passed though Mount Olympus let everyone know Hera was in love. As night passed a lighting storm rolled over Mount Olympus. Hera knew it was Zeus.

She stayed awake the whole night waiting for him when dawn was supposed to break the storms brewing outside caused the sun not to shine. So when Zeus did show up he had the look of fire in his eyes and he moved his hand around her neck squeezing hard to the point where Hera couldn′t breath her eyes large as she kicked and hit him with both hands. 

When Zeus let her drop to his feet as she gasped for air Zeus used his powers to turn her sleeping lover in bed into a minotaur and he knelled down to Hera′s level. "You will wish I killed you." Zeus spoke with venom on his tongue and he lifted Hera′s chin up so she could see her lover changed and she started to cry for him as Zeus used his powers and Hera seemed to ripped apart as she was sent to a Parallel Universe.

When Hera came too she looked around no one in sight but the castle she knew as home was not the same. What once was gold and silver now donned in black and dark reds. She stood up heading to the balcony and the vast lands around her where ash as if a fire burned everything living. The river that once flowed blue now was pure crimson. She started to run out of the room but not before she caught her refection in a charred mirror. Her eyes where once blue now they matched the river outside this very room.

She jumped when she heard a noise beside her turning to see her lover now the minotaur. She moved to his side to hold him in her arms as she weeped for him and the place they seemed to be locked in. When the doors to her room opened she looked over her shoulder to see a few men dressed in black. "My dark queen." the shortest one spoke as they bowed to her and she moved to stand up wiping under her eyes. Dark Queen she thought a smile forming on her lips. From that moment on she knew she would get her vengeance on Zeus.
