Víðarr & Princess Callia Looking for Safety... Category: Uncategorized
The unworthy son wanted Callia as a wife and with what happened to Vali and his family Helen wanted her daughter safe so she and Baldur had Vidarr take Callia away...
Vidarr worked as quick as he could in the kitchen and when he was setting everything on the small table he looked up to see Callia sleeping in the chair and he wondered if he should just carry her up to bed or wake her to eat but he would be up if she came down hungry so he moved to scoop her up into his arms and brought her up to the bedroom he carefully got her tucked in and he moved her hair from her face and moved to toss a few logs onto the fire and he moved from the room. He left the stew on the stove and he grabbed a bowl leaning against the counter to eat before he rinsed it out and he moved to set up the sofa for his bed. The light from the day was long gone and he moved into the bathroom the door didn't close all the way due to the lock being broke and he light the candles in the bathroom as he filled the tub. Undressing quickly he looked down at himself and groaned as he was at full attention. With Callia asleep he moved to close his eyes his hand stroking himself pretending it was Callia who was doing it and he let out a low moan into his free hand.
"So dont say with old stuff, say classics," she called out to him with a smile, pushing up to find the books he spoke of. It was tall shelves and she smiled poking through them. It was nice and plucking one form random she fell into the seat there, relaxing. It was nice, and quiet and blocking one person was far easier then her whole family. She barely got through the second page before her days of struggling with her powers caught up with her and she drifted in the little seat between the shelves.
Vidarr was nervous being alone with Callia for one he liked her and it was just bad company or so his brother drilled into his head that falling for their charges would be bad. Also Helen would skin them alive not to mention Baldur. But the feelings he couldn't help so he tried to focus on the stew he was making chopping veggies quickly he figured something warm would be needed for tonight. "So this place is stocked up on books but nothing new I'm afraid." he called out to her.
Callia was not happy about leaving but she understood why and she would appreciate the solitude. Since Mr. Unworthy had come back everyone was angry and tense and scared and she was so tired trying to push down all those feelings. It was hard to process all of these emotions that didnt belong to her and they were so intense she was struggling to control them. So when Vidarr led her to a tiny cottage and a little room she only smiled and thanked him and started to unpack her bags. She would likely have trouble sleeping she thought, being so far from home and her family, for the first time ever she was entirely alone without them. She watched Vidarr almost run into the door and she had to muffle a chuckle, her first in days. Bags tucked under the bed she followed him down, but not into the kitchen. She settled on the plush deep chair covered in flowers. Curled up she didnt mean to or think about it but looking ut the window at swirling snow she drifted off Vidarrs emotions not slamming against the walls she had up now almost easily.
The unworthy son wanted Callia as a wife and with what happened to Vali and his family Helen wanted her daughter safe so she and Baldur had Vidarr take Callia away. So with the help of magic from Baldur he sent Vidarr and Callia off to a small cabin deep within the mountains his mother owned before she died. The cabin is only a handful of rooms so it would be just the two of them but he thought it be better than going else where as Callia wouldn't be able to focus on so many emotions. He held her suitcases and he nodded his head to go up the steps which lead into a small bedroom. "You can take the bedroom I got the sofa downstairs." he said and set her things on the bed and moved to the door. "I am going to go get some firewood." he smiled at her and he left the room heading down the steps even when light on his feet could be heard from the old floorboards. Once outside he moved to take big stacks of wood dropping them off in the livingroom and kitchen before he went up the stiars and he smiled at Callia as she looked to be putting her stuff away. He moved to start up a fire for her and he looked around not sure what to say and he moved his thumb over his shoulder "I'll start dinner." he spoke and almost walked into the door frame and shook his head heading to the kitchen.
