There was this quick jump in Sefas pulse as her husband, and how wonderful was that to think, leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. Her hands pressed to his chest while he kissed her and his words only made her eyes well again, something she credited to the child she carried though she thought she might have cried even if she wasnt pregnant. Her laugh was watery but real as Zilch picked up their daughter whos giggles cemented this as the perfect day.
Zilch grinned and he leaned into his bride and his hands moved to cup her cheeks and he leaned down to press his lips against his wife's. In a gentle swoop of his tongue he pulled back to smile at her. "Forever and always you shall have my heart." he pressed one more kiss to her lips before he leaned down to scoop up Ingrid in his arms and he kisses her cheeks over and over to get her to giggle.
"May you always share with each other the gifts of love be one in heart and in mind may you always create a home together that puts in your hearts love generosity and kindness. In as much as Zilch and Sefa have consented together in marriage before in company of Miss Ingrid and have pledged their faith and declared their unity by giving and receiving a ring are now joined. I now pronounce you man and wife and may your days be good and long upon the earth. You may kiss the bride."
As Zilch felt the coldness of the band being slipped on his finger he knew this would be a forever type of love to be shared with her. He vowed he would never take it off again.
Sefa took the band so much larger then her own though it meant she had to let go of Ingrids hand. Taking Zilches hand in hers she started to speak slowly pushing the back back so it settled on his finger, "With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow."
Handing the ring to the Bride the JOP spoke. "Please repeat after then place the ring on his finger. With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow."
For the second time Sefa had to press at the corners of her eyes because the simple thought of having the ring on her finger and it showing the entire world that she was his and he was hers caused a lump in her throat. But she smiled, through the blur of tears, and for someone who hid behind things to never show emotions feeling very vulnerable just then also felt very right.
Zilch had to let go of Ingrid's hand but he took the ring and he moved to take Sefa's hand slipping the band on her finger and he spoke much more clearly this time. "With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow." lifting her hand up so he could press a kiss on the ring finger he smiled at her.
The JOP turned to Zilch and handed him Sefa's band and he spoke. "Please repeat after me then place the ring on her finger. With this Ring I thee wed, and with my body I thee honor, and with all my worldly goods I thee endow."
Zilch let out another carefree laugh and he felt his eyes gloss over he didn't like being so emotional and he was only ever so with Sefa so he didn't mind it so much today on their wedding day.
When it was Sefas turn she didnt hesitate for a second. Where Zilch had been slow and deliberate in his every word hers were said with an obvious excitement behind them, a flurry of excitement as she repeated, "I Sefa take thee Zilch as my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer or poorer, to be bonny and buxom at bed and at board, to love and to cherish for all of eternity."
The JOP turned to the Bride and he spoke "Please repeat after me I Sefa take thee Zilch as my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer or poorer, to be bonny and buxom at bed and at board, to love and to cherish for all of eternity."
There was a flurry of emotions happening within Sefa and she wasnt sure how she would ever recover from them. There was a happiness at being in the moment with her family, an anxiety for the next stage of their lives which this signaled, and then there was this burst of feeling as Zilch actually said his vows, a burst that ended with her wiping at her eyes with her free hand out of sheer happiness. She sniffled lightly but smiled so Ingrid didnt worry.
Zilch didn't want to mess up the words at all so he took a deep breathe and he exhaled before he repeated the words. "I, Zilch, take thee Sefa as my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, for fairer or fouler, to love and to cherish for all of eternity." he let out a carefree laugh at the end for not fumbling the words around.
The JOP turned to the groom once again "Please repeat after me I, Zilch, take thee Sefa as my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, for fairer or fouler, to love and to cherish for all of eternity."
