Zilch held on to his daughter's other hand and he liked they where all joined together in this moment and time and when it came to her time to say she does he wanted to laugh because he knew what she was thinking at the obey part and the first time he noticed her she was anything but obeying. His smile grew wider at her words.
Sefa watched the man as he spoke and though her brow quirked up at the word obey because she was probably the most stubborn person alive, but still she couldn't help the bubble of excitement because this brought her one step closer to being married. So he nodded with a smile and a tight hold of her daughters hand as she said confidently, "I do."
The JOP couldn't help but laugh when the child of Zilch and Sefa chimed in. He turned to Sefa and spoke. "Will you Sefa have this Man to be thy wedded husband, to live together in Matrimony? Will you obey him, and serve him, love, and honor him, forsaking all other, keep thee only unto him, so long as ye both shall live? "
Sefa went from flushed at Zilchs compliment to chuckling at her daughters reactions to just about everyone. But while Ingrid was charming and adorable Sefa was focused on the man marrying them as well as Zilch and the way his emotions played over his face very clearly today, such a rare thing for him. Sefa held Ingrids hand now because she had made sure she was facing her parents, like four sides of a square, so she squeezed the little hand after Zilch said i do in her own show of excitement before her eyes moved to the JOP expectantly eager for her turn.
Zilch now not taking his eyes off of Sefa listened to the words of the JOP and he nodded before he spoke. "I do." he smiled at her and Ingrid spoke beside him. "Me too!" she giggled and Zilch let out a carefree laugh.
The JOP cleared his throat and he looked to the couple and bouncing little girl. "we are gathered together here today to join you both in holy Matrimony." The JOP turned to Zilch and spoke "Will you Zilch have this Woman to be thy wedded wife, to live together in Matrimony? Will you love her, comfort her, honor, and keep her, forsaking all other, keep thee only unto her, so long as ye both shall live?"
Zilch felt his heart swell with nothing but love as he watched Ingrid skipping towards him humming and when he looked up Sefa his bride to be coming down towards him and his smile was wide and when she reached him he whispered to her. "You look so beautiful." Ingrid nodded at his side and he looked down at her. "So do you." he told his daughter and she giggled.
"I know ill love it," she told him in a whisper for him alone to hear as she watched him go. She then knelt down to Ingrids height and asked with a grin, "Do you know what to do?" It granted her a nod and another giggle as Ingrid explained how she would walk down the isle and make sure it was ready with petals. Sefa pressed a kiss to her daughters cheek before watching her head out, giving her some time to bask her her excitement of tossing petals and humming along the way till she met Zilch on the other side. Then Sefa did the same, though without her skipping or humming. But she did smile, because at the end of her path of petals waited her family and she knew this would be a day to remember forever.
Zilch grinned and pressed a kiss to her hand and he moved to hand her the flowers. "I know everything is not super fancy but I hope you like it just the same." he pressed a kiss to her forehead and he pointed by the door where the JOP was. "I will be down there when you are ready." he smiled and he headed down the snow path lined with candles and he stood rubbing his hands together wondering if he should of done this indoors.
Sefas smile seemed to have a life of its down. She went from beaming at the idea of a surprise wedding, to the beam dimming some because of the thought of him leaving for war, then back to smiling because Ingrids giggles were infectious and she liked the idea of something that was just them. No large crowds, nobody whispering about her or their daughter behind hands. This was perfect. So she nodded her head her smile softer but very real still as she told him, "Just the three of us will be perfect." Her hand rose to brush his cheek, wanting to lose herself in kissing him but holding back because that would be even better after they were married.
Zilch's lips pulled into a grin when he heard Sefa and he let out a carefree chuckle as Ingrid skipped towards her mother. "Surprise wedding day!" she tossed pedals at her mother and Zilch smiled at Sefa. "I wanted us to be married before I leave with the Berserkers in a few days time." he spoke lowly walking towards her. "I also didn't want everyone gawking at us. So news will be out once we say I do. I wanted it to be a us thing." he spoke and Ingrid tossed more pedals twirling. "WITH ME!" she giggled loudly and Zilch looked down at their daughter and he nodded his head looking back to Sefa.
Sefa woke alone and without the sounds of her daughter playing quietly while her mother rested with the work of carrying the baby Ingrid was excited to meet. She didnt want to move but worried about Ingrid she pushed up from where she lay and caught sight of the note Zilch had left for her. She was curious about what he could be up to and now knowing where Ingrid must be she rose and dressed, curious about what his plan for the day was. She was so preoccupied with the thought of him going off to war she struggled with thinking of anything else, even a nice surprise. She heard Ingrid skipping before she caught sight of her little family, a smile on her face as she called out playfully, "Nobody could wait for me to wake?"
Zilch had been up to planning a surprise for Sefa after the training yards. Asgard was on high alert at the moment and with Zilch joining and leading the Berserkers he was in training mood readying the troops for war against Sven and his undead army. He thought before he went off to war that he should marry Sefa because if something happened to him she would have the one perfect day to remember him by. Ingrid only found out the morning of and she was excited to dress up and toss pedals. Leaving a note where to meet Zilch and a dress on a hanger he left her sleep. He made sure he wore a suit to which he hated but he knew it was part of the package deal with a wedding. Ingrid was skipping around holding her basket as the snow started to fall lightly.
