Kainul's Birth Category: Uncategorized
A great power filled the ifrit, a smoldering fire trapped just under the
surface of his skin. While pregnant with their son, Aarzam used all the
focus he could to keep that fire inside of himself. The djinn power fed
into the baby and would give Kainul all the power he would need to live
amongst the other djinn of Zulfiquar when he was born. With Aarzam's
energy came intelligence as well, all the secrets of the universe would
be fed into Kainul. And when he was born he would have the knowledge and
understanding from all the djinn that helped channel their energy into
Aarzam during the course of his pregnancy. Taznin, Aarzam's mate, was a
big contributor to much of this energy. During the pregnancy Aarzam
spent most of his time in their chambers, he was forced to walk
everywhere so only small journeys here and there unless Taznin
transported him to another place. Without the help and protection of his
mate Aarzam was pretty much left vulnerable. And during that time he
learned that without his fire, he was useless to most of his brothers
and sisters.
But he also learned many valuable things too. Taznin discovered Aarzam
never knew how to read the djinn language, he never touched a book, wore
clothing, stroked fingertips over the fur of an animal, picked flowers
in a meadow. So during that time Taznin had been teaching Aarzam first
how to read. He enjoyed their evenings together, cuddled up close under
covers in bed as he experienced what it was like reading words on a
page. He learned djinn, latin, english, spanish, french, italian,
russian, korean, filipino, etc... even gaelic. Though Taz told him it
wasn't necessary since no one spoke that language anymore, much like
latin. But Aarzam wanted to learn everything, with his powerful ifrit
mind it didn't take him long to catch on. And always excited to find out
what book Taznin would bring to him every night. Sitting next to his
mate, feeling the touch of a forehead to the side of his head and
slender fingers caress over the back of his ear as he read the book. It
was all so comforting to the ifrit.
Once he was a sleep, Aarzam's dreams were his only connection he had to
his past life. As much as Aarzam loved the feel of trying new things, he
also had a love for something else too. And deep in the nightmares of
sleep he was able to experience that love again. The love of killing.
Yes, Aarzam was a killer. He craved it just as much as he craved his
mate near him. Slowly as time crept on without feeling those needs, deep
inside of him it slowly built up. His dreams every night becoming more
and more twisted and sadistic to the point it even started to worry
Aarzam himself, though he kept it secret. Many wouldn't see the twisted
images behind his eyes when he looked to them, they would only see the
innocent red eyes of a djinn looking back.
Something kicked him deep inside, maybe the baby stirring inside as he
slept. As his bright red eyes opened he was looking down at his arms
that were now covered in fire. Hot yellows and reds they surged hot
across his flesh. His body was completely consumed by the rage. He was
hovering above what was once their bed. Its remains were nothing but ash
now, only a damaged frame that was ripped apart by the violence of his
flame. His tummy that held Kainul hurt badly, Kainul was getting ready
to come out now. Aarzam knew that, he could hear Kainul inside his mind
telling him he didn't need to be fed anymore. Kainul wanted out!
In a panic Aarzam's fire grew hotter than ever before, months of pushing
it down he felt it bursting out of him without remorse. He screamed,
screaming for Taznin as his body curled up into a ball, fiery arms
wrapping around his swollen belly. As he screamed out he realized he
wasn't screaming for help, he yelling, "BEWARE! Stay Away!" His mind was
splitting in half, a small tiny part of him begged for help while the
evil dark side of him didn't want anyone near. "No one will take my son
from me, no one!" Flames shot out from the red of the ifrit's eyes. If
any came near he sent a blast of wicked heat across the room like a
sonic boom, keeping anyone away at a distance. Paint peeling off the
walls as it turned black, the flooring drying harshly and cracking, the
collection of books Taznin had brought him as gift were blow away to
nothing.. soon everything in the room was laid to waste in a few
minutes.
Taznin's response: As the sun of the land broke the horizon its first light striking the
highest spire of one of the many towers upon Ala al Din, the palace of
the two Kings. Taznin's body like a white serpent wrapped around the
tower. His large white talons gripped the side of the tower as his body
rested during the night. Crozier's time was closing, and when the first
ray of light hit him, Taznin's time rose with the sun. Large lavender
eyes cracked open, reptilian in design they focused on the sun as huge
white wings of feather broke from his form. Unfurling and stretching to
absorb the sun's precious gift of light. The serpent body crawled high
to the top and with powerful wings they beat down to lift him high into
the morning sky. His lips pale and vicious peeled back to reveal long
fangs that dripped sundrops like prism jewels they fell to the earth.
High above it all, his bright eyes looked over the land. Zulfiquar
coming to its beauty in the light. Flowers awakening in the valley,
trees swayed in the wind, the sweet aromas of the earth calling up to
the prince. And he grinned happily. His long pale arms rose up before he
dove down toward the ground below. Fast like a lightning strike he
plummeted to the ground. As he hit the valley below his form exploded,
shattering into a million pieces across the valley floor as he spread
like fog across the surface. Then slowly the particles came back
together to form himself standing in the center. His body forming as
human again and he looked over his arms and hands. Fingertips dancing in
the sun's rays, "I refuse to be like you Finidh, so you can fucking
kindly get out of my head." Taznin refused to let the sins of his father
plague him, he was determined to master himself. Clothing started to
spread over his naked form, from his toes to his shoulders like a ripple
of light it covered him. His fangs disappearing in his mouth, returning
to normal.
A spike of pain hit his mind and Taznin grabbed the sides of his face as
he crumpled to his knees. All he could hear over and over in his mind
was BEWARE! He panted as his hands gripped into the earth, his lavender
eyes glowed as he opened them. "Aarzam.." He only just left his mate's
side at the call of dawn, he was only gone for what seemed like minutes.
Kainul was ready to be born now. He licked his lips as he tried to
block the scream from his mate, it was disorientating. His legs wobbled
as he pushed himself to his feet and clumsily he flew to the balcony on
the palace where their room was. As he flew closer he felt that intense
heat pouring out at him. He gasped, "Aarzam!" His hand reaching out as
he saw his love boiling with fire. Pulling his emotions together as
tears streamed down his cheeks he pushed himself past his mate's strong
energy. Taznin clinged himself to Aarzam's side. Holding against his
mate. "Baby! Please, stop!" The roar of fire deafening Taznin's words,
his tears blown dry in an instant on his cheeks. Aarzam's warning came
again, fierce it stung and flew Taznin back. He felt his body crashing
against an ash wall, it shattered against his body's impact. Rising to
his knees he reached for Zam, "Please listen Aarzam, please. You'll kill
yourself!" White light exploded from Taznin's fingers and he wrapped it
up around his mate, like a blanket the white light covered him.
Swirling tightly around Aarzam to calm his awesome fire power.
Crow's response: It was always a bitter sweet time when the sun would rise, just as Taz
surely felt it when the sun would set in a sort of changing of the
guards fashion. The blazing ball of fire took its rightful place in the
sky as the youngest of the family was in all his glory. No wonder he
loved Zam so much, the Ifrit was none too different from the sun that
drove Taz’s life every day. A perfect match those two, clear proof that
love truly does conquer all. As Crow was ready to head to his den to go
over some of the business for the palace, he heard a deathly scream.
“BEWARE!” It called out, and if it wasn’t for the fact the hair on the
back of his neck stood on end, he would have dismissed it as someone
watching Labyrinth again. “This is not the way… go back while you still
can”, he mumbled to himself. “Yeah, yeah, yeah… shit’s going down
somewhere and I have a feeling it ain’t gonna be pretty.”
As the king rounded the corner, the once grand hallway that lead to
Aarzam’s room was nothing more than iron support beams and rebar with
piles of ash scattered on the ground. “Fuck me!” His black pools grew
larger and his dark matter took over pulling him apart in every which
direction to seep into the ground like black oil, traveling deeper and
deeper closer to Zam’s room. He could feel the heat growing the closer
he got, not to mention the commotion that was going on above ground was
loud enough to be heard way more than six feet under. Crow wasn’t sure
what he was going to find when he surfaced, but there was no time like
the present to make it known. He could feel the intense pain coursing
through Zam as Taz tried to bring all his fire into the light, the
problem was it wasn’t a good fire… it didn’t want to go into the light,
it was confused… like Carol Anne. Crow could sense his family… Zira, Naz
and even his nephew Nah-Nah there for the birth. It would be intense,
but no one was going to let any harm come to either of them. The burnt
ash of the floor began to part as the floor cracked open letting Crow’s
black mist emerge. The light was so blinding to him, he could barely see
and the closer he moved to Zam, his clothing began to singe off his
body. Before too long the fire would burn Crozier, he wasn’t invincible
but he was able to withstand and absorb a lot of his brother’s power.
“Taz, that’s not Zam talking… it’s the pain. It’s evil, it’s cruel… it
can’t handle your kindness and light!” The king reached out for one of
Zam’s hands trying to pull the evil out of him, finding that darkness
inside the Ifrit and hiding it away deep in his core where the void of
nothingness exists. “And I know you don’t want to hear it Taz… but, he has
to explode to set himself free from Kainul, if not he will forever suck
the life out of Zam. There’s too much energy here, and if we don’t
allow him to do this… he could kill us all. Thank god Naz and Yan are
here too, they can help to offset the balance when the influx of power
is too intense. Aarzam can’t hear me… there’s no point in even trying.
Tell him Taznin, tell him it’s okay to just let go…”
Taznin's response: Taznin had the ability to see light in all its rays and colors. He also
had the ability to see the unique matter of what a being and/or object
was made out of. All things gave off light, and in that light was the
very bar-code of what an object was created from. So focused on helping
his mate he didn't see anything else but Aarzam. His polarized eyes of
lavender watched the prince of fire as his light desperately tried to
balance his mate out. It wasn't until his polar opposite, King Crozier,
started to speak to Taznin that he pulled his gaze from Zam and looked
to Crow. His eyes started to blur over and tears streaked heavy down the
prince of light's face. His white fangs grew in his mouth as he sobbed.
"I can't!"
Taznin stuttered, his long pale fingers shook as he looked back to Zam.
And as he did he saw what Crow was talking about. The light Aarzam gave
off was pure evil, and Taznin's light no matter how powerful wasn't
going to balance what was happening. Pulling the last of his strength
together he pushed himself close to Aarzam. His arms wrapped around him.
Taznin could withstand Aarzam's heat, he always had that ability. His
mate's fire never scared him, but only made him feel more alive inside.
Slowly his body wrapped around Zam like a snake made of pure light.
Covering his mate's form like a blanket before his coils squeezed
slightly and in an instant the two of them and the baby blinked out of
the room. The last gift Taznin left with his powers, he healed the scar
of black over the room. Returning what was ash back to its original
forms. Traveling Aarzam and himself across space he materialized the two
of them far away in a meadow, far away from the family so Aarzam's
explosion wouldn't damage anyone or hurt anyone, or even kill.
His tears still flowing down his face, his lips kissed Aarzam's lips.
"Give in, let that fire take you baby." Taznin's fingers slipped inside
of his mate, softly he felt over Kainul to make sure their son was okay.
He smiled softly as he felt Kainul was just fine and happy. But Taznin
refused to let go off Aarzam, he was going to be there with his mate
when he exploded. His particles sifted through his mate and bonding with
them like they had done a million times in the past together. If this
was the last time they would be together, then Taznin wasn't going to
leave for nothing. He was going to use his light to pull the broke
pieces back together if he had too. When Aarzam would explode and the
violence of it rocked the valley they were in, the deafening boom
blasted out. Taznin let his light wrap around Kainul like a blanket, and
his last bit of power he would send Kainul back to the palace so the
family could find him. "I'm ready Zammer, my love."
Aarzam's response: Aarzam heard the cry of his mate, the good part of him buried deep down
inside could only watch like a prisoner to the fire as Taznin's body was
pushed away and smashed against the wall. He hated himself for that, he
hated his fire for that. He wanted to stop but the part controlling him
wasn't Aarzam, it the evil creature that lived inside of him and it
only laughed at Taznin's failure with a low rumble of cracking flame.
Nahyan approaching was the only element Aarzam couldn't touch, his
strong metal only welcomed the heat and he seemed to slip in his
Aarzam's blind spot, and his fire only bouncing off of him to redirect
it elsewhere. Especially when Kazira approached, fire loved more fire
and his evil black flame wrapped around her tighter than sin as he fed
off of her energy. His power focused on her it slowly started to back
off from everything else in the room, only feeding his hurt and pain
into Kazira, trying to change her flame into the same chaos that he was.
He would of been successful changing Kazira into a bomb as well until
Crozier showed up. The King of Djinn telling Taznin to try and talk to
him to tell him to let go. So focused on his older sister Kazira that
Aarzam didn't push Taznin away this time, and Taznin had the chance to
remove them from the room. Taking them far away from the palace.
Materializing in the meadow, Aarzam remembered this place, the valley
there they shared their date and that picnic dinner together. It was
also the very spot where Aarzam proposed to Taznin. Deep inside he loved
Taznin, and never wanted to see Taznin hurt or worse. His fingers
clutched around his baby bump, "Runaway Taznin." His good side growled
at him, he didn't want his mate to be here when he let go and exploded
like a bomb. But Taznin wasn't moving, he only felt that light feeding
into him and feeding his ticking time bomb self even more. A radiating
heat melted off Aarzam's flesh as he grew closer and closer to erupting
like a volcano. And he felt Taznin sift into him to bind his energy with
Aarzam.
All at once his fire stopped. Silence washed over the landscape of the
valley, and in that silence all Aarzam could hear was the beating of
their two hearts growing together inside his chest to become one. He
also saw the tears stained the beautiful cheeks of Taznin's face. He
hated seeing Taznin cry, he wrapped his fingers around Taznin's face and
brought his mouth to his lips kissing him maybe for their last time,
but by this point it was to late. The clicking clock had run out of time
and Aarzam screamed out as his body exploded. The sound of the shock
wave blasted heat across the meadow, its heat and its energy so intense
it blasted through everything. Anything close to the explosion it
knocked plants, rocks and trees over in its destruction. Aarzam and
Taznin were gone in an instant and all that remained of them was their
son Kainul who floated on down to the earth below him. His small self
cradled by the crater left by his caregiver and father Aarzam. Taznin's
light still circling like a mini solar system of lavender stardust
around Kainul.
But this is not the end of Taznin and Aarzam. Soon they would return...
