Training with Lady Sif

When Herdis decided that she wanted to learn to fight, and properly, she didnt want to be anywhere near the training yards. Maybe once she was able to keep to her feet, but not before then. She had no desire to be seen by her brothers landing on her ass without being able to handle herself. Her temper was large and she didn’t know how she would take people watching her fail. So when she had asked Sif, a friend of her fathers, to help her she had requested they do it away from prying eyes. And now, laying on her back, ass throbbing from the times she had been knocked on it she was glad she did. “If you keep knocking my feet out from under me and I have no way to defend myself how the hell will this help?” she asked Sif angrily as she shuffled back up to her feet.

“You use whats around you, you get creative. You work with what you have or dont have. You wont always be evenly matched.” Sif wasn’t showing any emotion on her porcelain face and that only made Herdis more angry. “That doesn’t make sense, it doesn’t teach me anything,”she said stubbornly as she pushed up to standing again. Sif wasted no time in knocking her on her ass gain making her groan in anger. It took all of her willpower not to lash out her with her own powers, because Herdis knew it would do her no good. “If you wish to impress...” Sif began and this time Herdis did lash out with her powers, knocking the older woman back on her ass to mirror Herdis. “Im not trying to impress anyone,” she said hotly before she rolled her eyes and closed them grumbling reluctantly, “Sorry.” She wasn’t sure she was but she knew she wanted Sif to keep training her and she might not if she kept acting out. She did so less since she had the distraction of Steve, but with the
