Paul was in the living room when he heard the doorbell ring. He got up and went to answer it. When he opened the door, he was shocked to see Helena. "Helena, what brings you by?" He asked as she walked in and closed the door.
After every one left the mansion. Helena's limo drove up to the front door. The driver opened the door for her, and she walked up to the house, and knocked on the door.
Emily laughed. "Oh, relax Alexis. Mother will be, just fine. We are at the Metro. Let's go have lunch, sweetie." They made their way to the restaurant and sat down at one of the tables."
"Omg, Emily, slow down." Alexis was barely able, to put the seat belt on, before Emily took off. I can't believe, that you just did that, Emily. Your poor, mother." She looked at her.
Emily stood up, and smiled, when she saw Alexis. "Alexis. Hi. It's so nice to see, you. Thank you, for rescuing me, from Aunt Tracy. I have an idea. let's go to the Metro. You don't mind mom, do you. I never get, to see my sister-in-law." She grabbed her hand, walked over to the car. "You, are such a life safer. Get in. I'll drive."
"Have I come, at a bad time, Monica. I probably should have called first. But, I realized that I don't spend as much time with you, without the babies as I should be doing. I can come back at another time." Alexis looked at her.
"Who's here, Monica." She looked at saw Alexis, and smiled. "Alexis. This is a nice surprise, I don't see any babies. But, I like this." She took the chocolate cake and wine, and went into the living room. "We have company." She said to them.
Monica heard the door bell ring, and walked over to the door and opened it. "Alexis, this is a nice surprise. Please, come in. What do you have there." She smiled at her.
A couple of days later, Alexis drove over to Monica's house. She brought a bottle of red wine, and Monica's favorite chocolate cake with her. She got out of the car, and knocked on the door.
Jason smiled at Alexis. "You were a wonderful lawyer. So, if you want to go back to it. Then you have my full support." He kissed her softly on the lips. "You never know, one of the kids might want to become a lawyer when they grow up."
"You know, I think that I would like, to go back and become a lawyer. Perhaps, part time at first. I to be with the kids, as much as possible. We will definitely keep an eye on her." She smiled at him.
Jason chuckled. "Nothing wrong with being excited. Would you like to be a lawyer again? I know how much you missed it." He smiled and nodded his head. "We will definitely keep an eye on Monica. Who knows. Maybe, it's nothing but it certainly does not hurt to be on the safe side though. Especially where my family concerned."
