Jason chuckled softly. "I think that may have been the first time I ever heard you use the word awesome. I know you did it for Monica and I know that she appreciates it." He sighed. "You're not alone though. I'm worried too. Paul almost killed her. Granted, he said what his reasons were but. He almost killed her, Sabrina and Emma. Who's to say he won't try and do it again? I'm happy she's happy but I'm afraid of what he's capable of."
She looked at him, and grinned. "It was freakin awesome, Jason. Although, I don't particularly enjoy getting a guilty man off. I only did it, for Monica. I'm worried about her, with Paul, Jason. What are we going to do about it." She sighed.
Jason smiled when he heard Alexis. He hugged her back a little bit tighter. "You did great today, Alexis. It was as if, you never stopped being a lawyer. How did it feel?"
"Mmmm. I am tired, Jason. It's been one hell of a day, and ... and." She stopped and looked up at him. "I just realized what happened today. I had my first client, Jason. I didn't even realize it, until just now. I was a lawyer today." She hugged him tightly.
Jason finished reading the book to Jason and smiled when he saw that he was now asleep. He closed the book and looked up when he heard Alexis. "I could use a little something to eat." He got up from the rocking chair with Jason in his arms. He walked over to his crib and gently laid him down then covered him with the blanket. "Good night, buddy." He kissed his forehead then took the book and put it back in the book shelf. "It looks like all of our kids are asleep." He smiled at her then shut the light in Jason's room as they walked out. "You look tired."
After awhile Jason finished with giving Jason a bath. He brought him into his room and put his pajamas on. Then sat down in the rocking chair and read him a bedtime story.
Jason chuckled when he heard Alexis. He checked the tub and felt that the water was just fine, so he placed Jason in the tub with his toys. Then started to wash him. It didn't take too long for Jason to start splashing him. "Your mother was right." He laughed.
Alexis came back upstairs with the bottles, and checked in on Jason. "It's okay, to get daddy, baby." She giggled and went into the bedroom to the girls.
Jason chuckled. "That's great to know." He laughed. "Luckily, I'm not one of those men who is afraid to get wet." He smirked. He went upstairs and into Jason's room. "Hey there, Champ. Are you ready for your bath?" He asked as he picked him up then brought him into the bathroom. He turned the water on in the tub and let it rum for a little while. "Looks like we have everything we need. Including your favorite, Mr. Ducky. You're not gonna splash Daddy, right?"
"Mmm hmm. Well, Jason needs a bath tonight. And, Monica gave one to the girls, so they're fine. I'll go and give them a bottle, and you can give Jason a bath. Oh, he likes to splash a lot." She giggled, and went to the kitchen to get the bottles ready.
Jason shook his head. "I can't believe it either. I guarantee you if my mother wasn't with him. Paul would have served at least some jail time." He looked at her. "Just hope he doesn't do it again." He took his jacket off and put it on the chair. "Putting the kids to bed then us going to bed sounds perfect." He chuckled softly.
