08/07/2016  Welcoming Little Jon Category: Uncategorized Fortuna had never before had the chance to spoil a baby that wasn't her own. Her older brother had his children before she was born, then old enough to understand, and she was the only other sibling before now to have children. But now her twin was a father and she wanted to make sure the little boy who would grow with all her brothers charm was the most spoiled there had ever been. Plus if it one day caused cranky issues that would fall to Jons parents and not her so it was a win win. As it stood she decorated her mothers home to welcome the little boy on his first journey to meet his fathers side of the family.  The idea for Robin Hood as a Theme had come from a friend of her family, Marguerite. The second she had called her nephew Little Jon for Fortuna it stuck and she knew this had to be the theme for the day. So everything was awash in greens and browns, little bulls eyes painted on cakes and decorations. Even the glasses made them all look like they were at a party for merry men. And for her brother Fortuna had set up a small table, one where she would offer her usual sisterly advice and company while everyone else got to cuddle the new bundle of joy. 	Elpis Riddick-Lust *KOED-LY*	(I think it is fitting and as Riddick usually can't post in blogs only fair to add.) X Riddick stood over his grandson Jon as he slept. Riddick removed his goggles from his eyes and looks at him with his metallic eyes smiling at the Furman before him. He placed his hand on the boys chest feeling his heart beat. "I got your back boy." 	Elpis Riddick-Lust *KOED-LY*	Elpis watched her children dote on their nephew and set things up to spoil their brother too. She was happy to see her children gather in peace and harmony for a change. She also noticed Des and quietly went to greet her grandmother with a hug. "The baby is center of attention and we mothers stand and watch. It can give the parents a breather to see so many willing babysitters. I wish I had that many willing baby sitters, but my sisters and brothers usually added their children to the family the same time I had mine." She drew up two comfy chairs. 	Queen Desdemona Lust (KOED)	Des step from the shadows for a moment watching the small part of the family standing there, She kept to the back of the room to her self. She looked around and knew Morgana would not be attending, her daughter, and the boy's maternal grandmother was still mostly bound to Lemuria. She had something for the boy, but she would give it to him when the time came when he was older, She didn't come near the boy at the moment for he was being loved on by the closer of the family. Family things like this were rare for her to attend. Thankfully they were not like the family gatherings in the past when she was growing, but the last true gathering she had been too... it was for her baby sister, who was no longer with them. Des gave a soft smile watching all the kids move about and look in the crib. She smiled from the shadows. Des sighed. She saw that things were set up for Jon and things were set up for the father Ben, but there was nothing for the mother, Storma, This upset Des a bit, She turn from the family celebrating. It was best she didn't say anything here. if her anger came out it would ruin things as it was. So Des step back into the shadows to head back to her castle, leaving those to the celebrations. 	Shattered Porcelain	She nodded her head in thanks for the person who let her in. She sat the gifts down around the others and smiled, waving to the others whose faces she did not know. 	Fortuna Riddick ||Everlasting Deities||	"Try not to let your mother hear you calling the baby it, shes hormonal," Fortuna said though she had to force herself not to laugh at her brothers words, "Ill change him," she added focusing on that word with a snort. It was quick work to change one baby she was so used to double duty. She heard someone answer the door behind her, which was strange most people in her family didnt bother with things like knocking. 	Shattered Porcelain	Claudia knocked lightly on the door. She had heard about the party but really didn't know anyone other than Ben and Fortuna. She had, however, considered them both friends and therefore had went on a bit of a shopping spree while visiting her Fathers in New York. With bags in hand, she knocked at the door lightly and waited for someone to answer, hearing there were already people inside. 	Elpis Riddick-Lust *KOED-LY*	Elpis hauled in a huge teddy bear, which had become a custom almost to gift every new born in the family. Little Jon - she was surprised by the choice of name, that Richard had picked. Riddick loved Tarzan usually, but little Jon truly sounded like Robin Hood's companion. She looked around the decorated room and laughed. Then she looked around to greet her family, especially her newest grandson.
