Human Misery Category: Blogging
(Inspired by the Krakatoa volcanic explosion of 1883.)
Fire rains death upon mankind, an inferno of cataclysmic destruction which leaves few people in the surrounding areas alive. Already suffocating under intense heat, falling ashes from the erupting volcano burns people alive as they flee in vain. Melting flesh drips from bones, lava flow engulfing many who are either dead or unfortunately still living. Nothing is left except charred remnants of villages tragically swept away by either molten lava or towering tsunamis, nature inflicting extreme cruelty upon men, women, and children as generations of families are completely annihilated, a most tragic and unimaginable demise claiming many thousands of unsuspecting victims, the majority of which shall never be remembered again as this horrific event at last ceases for the time being, only for a second volcano to eventually take the first one's place.
