(Another nightmare of mine, but this time I was not in it. Rather, a teenage female was the unfortunate victim of the deceased person's vengeful spirit. I don't know if the two girls knew one another or not in the dream.)
I see her in my dreams, a little dead girl who beckons me to join her in the afterlife. Victim of a cruel drowning, she returns time and again to this dreaded place of suffering, claiming yet another unfortunate wanderer who's always paralyzed with extreme fear, yet also screams in sheer horror before violently perishing. They slowly sink under dark muddy water, those terrified cries of the innocent cut off by asphyxiation as a remorseless entity claims even more human lives. I suddenly wake up in a cold sweat, knowing full well the torturous fate that soon awaits me, yet at the same time feeling absolutely powerless to resist her sinister intentions. In these dreams I call out to this young female, asking what can be done to help her find everlasting peace in the afterlife, while also hopefully saving myself and others from perishing horribly. She simply smiles and crawls back under the dark abyss, a lake of water barely visible below the surface. I sleep miserably, tossing and turning while hearing that childlike voice whispering softly in my ear; her cold, dead breath sending chills throughout my entire body. Awakening as if in a trance, I slowly open the door and begin walking into the woods close by my house, and finally come to the very spot of this child's tragic demise. About to willingly drown myself as if possessed, I quickly begin to scream before turning around in a futile attempt to escape. Lifeless hands grab my ankles, eventually pulling me under despite all efforts of resistance. Feeling her surprisingly inviting touch, I soon cease fighting the inevitable and join her in an eternal embrace of death together. Black water fills my lungs as I sink to the very bottom of this cursed lake, dying with a look of absolute horror upon my face as the ghostly legend of the little drowned girl claims her latest victim.
