(I wrote this to express my feelings about how insensitive people had become regarding violent crime in general.)  

Dying daily, people's lives expire.

Violence of bloodshed, death by gunfire.

Bullet to the head, empty fifteen rounds.

Acts of random violence, mayhem abounds.

No one seems to worry about crime anymore.

Laughing at the thirteen dead bodies on the floor.

Little girl abducted, raped stabbed and killed.

We don't care we join in, and share the sicko's thrills.

Kids killing over colors, an everyday event.

We go on with our lives, and think nothing of it.

Armed robber bursts in and, shoots the clerk in the head.

Fails to make the front page, we're used to it I guess.

The media induces, insensitivity.

I don't care who gets shot, as long as it's not me.
