Dylan smiled at her. "You're very welcome, Elizabeth. Yeah, I think you and Sharon would get along great. When I first came to Genoa City in 2013, she was the first person that I met. We kind of bumped into each other at Crimson Lights which is a coffee shop, and she spilled her coffee on me." He laughed. "She really doesn't have many friends. Her life has never been an easy one. She does one bad thing and everybody turns their back on her. To me, I see the good in her. She's got a good heart like you." He looked at her. "Whenever I'm able to go back, I'll show you around town. Until then, we need to start getting things for the baby. I'm good with building things."
"You're welcome, Elizabeth. The same goes for you." Dylan gave her a soft smile and sighed. "No, there's nothing you can do to help me with Sharon. She knows that I'm in the Witness Protection Program. What happened was I went on an undercover assignment in Miami. I got the evidence that I needed but then things just went South. They were gonna kill me and I wound up getting shot, it was just a graze. Then, I flew back to Genoa City and home to Sharon. I knew that they would be after me and my family, so I had to leave town. I already knew that. Then, I called Paul to let him know I was okay and he came to the house. He said I would have to go into Witness Protection and that my life as Dylan McAvoy was over. Sharon wanted to come but she's well known and would have to change her appearance, leave her kids. I couldn't let her do that. This was my mess, not hers." He got up from the bed and walked back and forth. "So, Paul called Kevin who is kind of like Spinelli in a way, he planned everything out with my new life and location. I said my goodbyes to Nikki, Paul and Sharon." He thought about how hard it was. "I called Paul Dad for the first time that night." He smiled. "First and last time. Nikki was a mess because we didn't have more time together and I told her that I knew she loved me and I love her too. I would take it with me wherever I go." He took a deep breath. "The hardest goodbye was Sharon. Every man she's been with always leaves her. I told her I wasn't abandoning her. Then, she put my wedding ring back on my finger and I said I would love her until the day I die. Then I left and got in the car with Paul and Kevin. If I'm ever allowed to reclaim my life as Dylan McAvoy and come back to Genoa City. You can come with me, Elizabeth. I think you would like Sharon. The both of you never had it easy. But you're both good, kind hearted people."
"Thank you, Dylan. I would like, to stay here with, you. Going back, won't be so easy, but at least I know, I will have you to talk to." She sighed. "There's nothing, that I can do, to help you, with Sharon."
Dylan nodded his head. "I will give you all the time in the world to think. Only if you want to stay here, you can. I don't have a choice in the matter. I must admit that if you do stay, it'll be great having someone in town that I know." He gave her a soft smile.
"I don't know. I need time to think. I can stay here with you, and keep you company in the meantime. We can help each other, Dylan. Please. I have more than enough money for the both of us." She looked at him.
Dylan shook his head and sighed. "What makes you think that you're relationship with Jason is over? Because of what you and Sonny did? Sharon and I have been through quite a lot as well but I forgave her because I love her. Just like Jason loves you. As soon as I am able to get the okay to come back, I'm gonna go to Sharon and hug and hold her close." He sighed. "This is what sucks about being in witness protection. Can't make any mention whatsoever of my life as Dylan McAvoy. I may not be able to go back to the ones I love but you can. Elizabeth, Jason loves you. Work things out."
Elizabeth looked at him. "No. It's okay. What am I, supposed to do, Dylan. Go back and what, go back to g.h." She sighed. "Jason and I done. I could always go to Sonny, and have him buy me a place to live. Though, that's not a bad idea. I could always ask Sonny, to move in with him. Then I can get rid of Carly, which was what I had in mind in the beginning. Perhaps, you're right. Perhaps, I should go back home. I do miss my boys though." She looked at him again.
Dylan looked at her and shook his head. "No, I don't hate you, Elizabeth. I never could. Something tells me that my brother feels the same way. These things happen sadly. It doesn't make it right but nobody is perfect. If someone claims to be just that, then they need help. We all make mistakes, what matters is the way things are handled."
Elizabeth picked up the phone and ordered the Tuna Special. She then hung up. "You, mean that you don't hate me, for what I did to your, brother." She sighed. "I was just thinking, this was my way of getting back at Alexis and Carly, for looking down at, me." She took some more coffee.
"You're welcome." Dylan smiled softly at her. He shook his head. "I can't understand it either but these things happen, Elizabeth. One day Jason is going to realize that." He looked at her. "I can relate though." Before he could explain, he nodded his head. "Sure, you can order room service." He handed her the menu. "Get whatever you want."
She took some coffee, and smiled. "Thank you." She sighed. "He was more upset as to why I wanted to have Sonny's baby, than anything else." She looked up at him. "I'm suddenly, very hungry. Can I order room service here, Dylan."
Dylan nodded his head. "Sure." He went over by the coffee pot and poured some into a cup then gave it to her. "Here you go." He sat down next to her and sighed. "When Jason found out about your affair with Sonny, he got upset?" He asked.
