With the arrival of the first letter Moira had been in a shocked disbelief. She had run to her aunt who was playing outside with Spiére, and distracted her cousin as her aunt had read through the letter, half hoping it was a lie. But when she spoke it was clear she bought that it was real as well. "How though, I mean, im Greek, and well alien, Furyan isnt like normal right?" Moira asked clearly skeptical. Arethusa had spared her a laugh before reminding her, "The Norse come from another world, that would make them to us in this world Alien. And you seem pretty taken with more then one of them so it doesnt seem like a huge problem. Besides they also have lots of ties to the Greek." Moira had to admit her aunt was right, and as she tossed back and forth in bed she debated her options. Her father hadnt wanted her trained when she was younger, and her brother was the one to teach her everything he could. She doubted it would be celebrated then that she was not only taking the time to train with Ryan and Mera from their teacher Revan but would do this. She couldnt deny though that this was the chance of not only learning more but gain powers. She wouldnt need her necklace to travel from place to place, she would be able, capable, and more then anything nobody would doubt her abilities anymore. That night, in the blue wash of light from the moon she wrote three letters. The first to her mother letting her know of the opportunity and that she would take it. The second to the Valkyries themselves accepting. The last letter was to her brother, gushing about being so excited and being entirely terrified. He was the single person she would admit as much to and she felt better for it. In the morning she sent off all three and then she went about her day, studying with her aunt, working on a new schedule and figuring when she would have time to go home and see Ryan and Nana and the rest. For days she worked out what she would need in Asgard, what would be left in Egypt and what she could have Ryan send from home when she needed it. She made one trip home before it was time for her to head to Asgard, where Ryans assurances she would kick ass helped her to not balk and hide instead from the chance. The morning Róta came for her she had spent with Spiére and his lions, cataloging for her aunt. Her bag was waiting in the hallway and she hugged her aunt a bit to tightly before she was whisked away in a cloud of swirled smoke, headed to a bit Asgard she had never seen before.
