Patrick had just come back from checking on a patient of his. He walked up to the nurse's desk when he heard the elevator. He turned around to see the doors open.
Michael sighed when Carly told him about Sam and Penny being sick. "Oh my God. Go to the hospital and be there for Jason. He's going to need you. Send him my best." He looked at her. "I tried calling Dad cause we were supposed to go over things about a new project. But, he hasn't answered. I thought maybe he would be here. It's not like him to not answer texts or phone calls."
Danny made his way into Penny's room where he saw Elizabeth taking care of her. "Hi Elizabeth." He smiled somewhat at her. "How is Penny doing?" He asked as he looked down at her and sighed.
Jason sighed when he heard what Silas said about Sam. "Encephalitis? She had that back in 2006. She contracted it from a monkey. As well as everybody else. It took her a long time to recover. How did she contract it this time? Is there anything that you can do to save her?"
Elizabeth stayed with Penny, and washed her down, with a wash cloth, while she waited for Monica to come back. "Everything's going to be okay, Penny." She knelt down, and kissed her forehead.
Robin was walking down the hall when she saw Alexis and smiled. "Alexis, are you lost." She heard her mention taking a blood test. "Sure, of course, I can help, you. Come to the lab with me." Once inside the lab, Robin did the blood work, and smiled at her. "I'll take care of this myself, and let you know. Then when the girls come in, we can match yours with theirs." She smiled at Alexis, then after she left, started working on the dna.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Patrick. I don't know what happened. I guess, that it was so hot outside. Then I came back inside. I'm fine really." She sat back up. "See. Nothing to worry about." She smiled at him.
Carly was about to go the hospital, and see Jason, when Michael came in. "HI Michael. No. I haven't. I just heard from Jason, about Sam and Penny being very sick, and they're both at the hospital. I was just about to go and see him. What happened, to Sonny." She looked at him.
Alexis got up, and went over to Danny, and hugged him tightly. "Sam is still sleeping, and Penny has a high fever, but you can go and see her. I'll take him over, Jason." She took Danny over to Penny's room, and opened the door. "You, can talk to her." She closed the door, and sighed.
She came back, and saw Jason talking to the doctors, and decided to go take a blood test.
Michael kept trying to call Sonny but there was no answer. He decided to go to the house and check on him. When he got there, he saw Carly in the living room. "Mom, hi." He hugged her. "Have you heard from Dad?" He asked.
When Sonny woke up, he looked around to see where he was. He looked up. "Sam! Sam!" He yelled. "Help! I'm down here!" He sighed when there was no response. He looked at his leg and saw that it was bleeding from the gunshot wound. He took his jacket off as well as his shirt and tied on his leg.
Danny got Jason's phone call about Sam and Penelope and headed straight to the hospital. He got off the elevator where he saw him with Alexis. "Dad, Grandma. I came as soon as I could." He hugged them both. "How are Mom and Penny?"
Patrick saw Victoria open her eyes and smiled. He went over to her. "Welcome back." He smiled at her. "I was getting on the elevator then when the doors opened, I saw you lying on the ground." He sighed. "You weren't waking up."
Silas was about to go and inform Jason about Sam when he saw Monica come in. "Hi Monica." He watched as she looked down at Sam. "I was just going to tell Jason about what's going on." He sighed. "I might have an idea as to what exactly is wrong with her. I just have to run a few more tests to be sure. With her symptoms and everything that Jason told me. She might have contracted encphalitis or something else."
Jason smiled somewhat when he heard Alexis. "Thank you, Alexis. I appreciate you being here for me and especially Sam." He saw Monica walk over and stood up. "How is Penny?" He heard what she said and nodded his head. "Thank you, Mom." He felt her squeeze his shoulder then looked at Alexis. "I'm gonna go and call Danny." He went over to the side and called Danny. "Danny, you need to come to the hospital. Your sister woke up and is asking for you. Your mother is also back in the hospital. Just please come down."
Monica came into Penny's room, and sighed when she heard her. She called Elizabeth to come in, and stay with her. "Keep her cool, and wash her down. I'll send in some meds for her." She then went to see Jason.
"Jason. Hello, Alexis. Penny, wants Danny. I think you need to call him for her. Her fever is a little high, and Elizabeth is staying with her. I'm going to check on, Sam." She squeezed his shoulder tightly, then left.
