Patrick had just come back from checking on a patient of his. He walked up to the nurse's desk when he heard the elevator. He turned around to see the doors open.
After Michael finished with calling everyone informing them that Sasha had the baby. He went back into the room and smiled softly when he saw that she was asleep with Jonah in her arms and smiled softly. He sat down in the chair next to her bed and just watched them.
Michael bent down and kissed Jonah on his forehead. “Your mom and I love you very much, Jonah. We are so happy that you are here.” He looked at Sasha. “I will go and call everyone to tell them.” He kissed her softly on the lips. “I love you.” He kissed Jonah again then went in the hallway to call everybody.
"Hello, my baby boy. We're been waiting for, you." She, gently held him in her arms. Then kissed his cheek.
"Say, hello daddy. You'll get to meet, your big brother Wiley, soon. And, all your grandparents and just every one." She, looked up at him. "We have to call them, Michael. And, bring Wiley here." She, grinned at him, and breathe in deeply. "My, Jonah."
Michael felt the tears well up in his eyes when Steve held the baby up so he and Sasha could see. He nodded his head and grabbed the scissor to cut the cord. He kissed Sasha on her forehead. “You did it, Sasha. Our son is here. I love you so much.” He kissed her softly on the lips. He looked at Steve. “Thank you, Steve.” He shook his hand and watched as he handed the baby to her. “He is so beautiful. Welcome to the world, Jonah.”
Steve then grabbed the baby. “Congratulations you two. You have a son.” He held him up so they could see him. “Michael, would you like to cut the cord?” He asked as he picked up the scissors and gave it to him. After Michael cut the cord, Steve cleaned the baby then placed him in a blanket and handed him to Sasha. “Congratulations, Mom and Dad. We will move you into a room soon. I will leave the three of you alone.” He gave them a soft smile.
After Michael picked Sasha up from the wheelchair, he gently placed her on the bed. Then went over to the side and picked up her hand and held it. “You’re doing so good, Sasha. I’m so proud of you. Remember whenever you feel pain, just squeeze my hand as hard as you can. You can do this.” He kissed her hand.
Steve had just finished up with a patient when he saw Michael with Sasha. “Hi, Michael, Sasha. I guess it’s that time.” He smiled. “Let’s take you to the birthing room.” He wheeled her over to the elevator and got in. They arrived on the 7th floor and went over to the birthing room. Once inside, he watched as Michael picked her up from the wheelchair and placed her on the bed. “Thank you, Michael. You’re doing really good, Sasha.” He looked between her legs. “This baby is coming. Sasha, I’m going to need you to push.”
Michael finally arrived at the hospital with Sasha. He carried her inside when he saw Steve as he came over to them. “Hi Steve. Sasha is going into labor.” He said as he placed her in the wheelchair.
Jason smiled when Britt came over to them. “Thank you, Kim.” He hugged her. “Please tell Oscar I will see him soon.” He went over to the backseat and looked at her. “I’m okay, Britt. I appreciate you helping me.” He gave her a soft smile then got inside.
Britt finally drove up to the hospital, and put the car in park, and got out.
"I'm here. All on board." She came over to the other side, and opened the car doors for them. "Jason, I think you'll be more comfortable in the back seat. Thanks Kim, for keeping an eye on them for me." She, hugged her tightly. "See you tomorrow." She, smiled at them.
Jason saw Kim come out and looked at her. He heard what she said and shook his head. Okay, you do have a point. I guess I can stay put in this wheelchair for a little while longer. He smirked.
Kim was on her way out, and giggled when she heard, Jason.
"Yes, you did, Jason. You, know better. Hospital rules. You're still a patient, until you leave, that wheel chair." She, looked at him, and grinned. "And, I'm making sure, you stay put." She, grinned at him.
