Patrick had just come back from checking on a patient of his. He walked up to the nurse's desk when he heard the elevator. He turned around to see the doors open.
Jason nodded his head and smiled. “Of course, Patrick. We have plenty of room at the house.” When they were outside, he raised his eyebrow upon hearing Britt. “Did she really just tell me to stay put?”
"Of course not, Patrick. Are you kidding. The only girl in the car. Come on guys." Once outside, she stopped. "Why, don't you guys wait here. I'll go get my car, and be right back. Jason, you stay put. Make sure, he stays put, you two."
Jason nodded his head. “Thank you, Dylan. I will keep that in mind. Mom is definitely the best. That is for sure.” He looked at the pictures of the twins on his phone. “Awe, look at them. Look at those blue eyes. I’m looking forward to meeting them. Congratulations again.” He hugged him.
Dylan sighed when he heard what he said about Alexis and Monica. “I’m glad that Alexis is okay. If there is anything I can do to help. Just name it. It does not surprise me about Monica taking care of and being there for you. She did the same for me when Courtney had Alanna and Alexis a few years ago. I was so worried and scared and she just has this calming effect. Thank you. Dylan Jr and Nicole Victoria.” He took out his phone and showed him and Britt some pictures. How is Penny?”
Jason smiled when he saw Dylan come over. “Hey Dylan, you’re welcome. You’re my brother. Of course, you can stay with us tonight. Alexis is much better. We thought she had osteoporosis but thankfully it just turned out to be a broken wrist. So, she needs to wear a cast for a few weeks. Mom is exhausted. She came here to go out to lunch with Patrick originally but obviously that didn’t happen. She spent most of the day with me and taking care of me. She didn’t even eat and almost fainted in my hospital room.” He sighed. “Alexis was there to catch her thankfully. She’s at the house now, Mary made her something so she ate. I know that she will love to see you.” He smiled again. “Congratulations to you and Courtney on the twins.”
Patrick was in Victoria’s room with the kids when he heard the door open and saw Kim. “Hey Kim.” He smiled when he heard her. He looked at Victoria and nodded his head. “This has been one crazy day to say the least. I’ll go home and get some rest. I’ll go with Jason, Dylan and Britt. I love you so much.” He leaned in and kissed her softly on the lips. “I will see you in the morning.” He kissed the kids then looked at Kim. “Thank you, Kim.” He left and got on the elevator as it took them down to the lobby.
After leaving Courtney and the kids, Dylan made his way down to the lobby where he saw Jason and Britt. “Hi, thank you so much for letting me stay with you tonight. I really do appreciate it, Jason. Sorry, it took me awhile. I was waiting for Courtney to fall asleep. I know that she’s just as tired as the rest of us. How are Alexis and Monica doing?”
Jason was downstairs in the lobby with Britt as they waited for Dylan and Patrick. “Thank you again for doing this, Britt. I really do appreciate it.” He smiled at her.
"Go ahead, honey. Go, have some fun. I know you're exhausted, and you want to see, Monica. The three of us, are going to get some sleep. Have fun with, Jason Jr." She, smiled softly, at him.
Kim went to Patrick and Victoria's room, and knocked on the door, and went inside.
"Hello. How's it going in here. I'm sending every one home, Patrick. Jason and Dylan are going home, and so are you. Britt is taking them both home. How would you like to join them. Dylan is staying at Jason's house tonight, and he wants to know if you would like to join them. Monica is also there tonight." She, grinned at him.
Jason nodded his head and smiled. “I completely understand, Britt. I promise you that we will have a party celebrating the babies. This way, we can take our time planning it.”
"You're right, of course. Kim and I, just got caught up, in the moment. Kim, why don't you go and get Patrick and Dylan. And Jason and I, will go check out. And, we can meet up in the lobby." She, smiled softly at them.
Jason chuckled softly when he heard Britt. “As good as that sounds. Maybe, another time. It’s late. We all need to get some rest or at least try to.” He smiled at her then heard his phone. He saw that Alexis had texted him back. “Glad to hear it. We owe Billy and Sharon a lot including dinner. We will be there soon. Love you too.” He texted her back. “That was Alexis. The kids are asleep. If we have a party now, I don’t want to risk them waking up. It’s been a hectic day for everybody. I think getting sleep is the best option then when everyone is out of the hospital, then we can celebrate.”
