Patrick had just come back from checking on a patient of his. He walked up to the nurse's desk when he heard the elevator. He turned around to see the doors open.
Monica came back over to, Alan. "Oh, hi Nikki. Congratulations Grandma, and Grandpa. You two can go in, in a couple of minutes. The babies are so tiny. But, they're perfectly fine. Dylan, is a total wreck." She giggled. "Wait, what happened to, Spencer. Alan, call him." She, looked at them.
Alan watched as Jason headed over to Courtney's room and smiled. He looked at Nikki. "We were all at Alexis and Jason's to help with planning with Molly's wedding. Then Courtney came down and crouched down cause she was going into labor. I was helping her but the baby had stopped moving. Now, with them having twins, it explains why the baby wasn't moving."
Courtney looked up, and smiled when she saw, Alexis. "Hi, mom." She giggled. "I'm good. Would you like, to hold your granddaughter." She, smiled at her.
Jason smiled when he heard Monica. "That's great. I'm so happy for Dylan and Courtney." He watched as she took Alexis over to their room and was about to go when he saw Nikki. "Nikki, hi. Courtney is fine and so are the babies. She had twin girls." He smiled. "Alexis, went in to see them, I'm gonna go and be with her."
"Twins." Alexis said and giggled. She walked into the room, and smiled. "Omg. Look at my, baby." Alexis went over to Courtney, and gently hugged her, and kissed her on the cheek. She, then went over to Dylan, and hugged him tightly, and kissed him on the cheek too, and looked at him.
"The babies are so beautiful." She, went back over to, Courtney. "Are you feeling okay. Do you need, anything." She, smiled at her.
Nikki came to the hospital with Luke, just in time to see Monica, Take Alexis over to the ICU. She, saw Jason and Alan, and smiled at them. "Jason. Alan. Is Courtney, okay." She looked at them.
"Alexis. Jason, Alan. The most amazing thing. Well, not really." She giggled. "Courtney and babies, are doing just fine. She had twin girls, Alexis." Monica hugged her tightly. "You, can all go and see her. Dylan is besides himself. Come on." She took them over to the room. "I have a couple of visitors, you two."
Jason and Alexis had finally arrived with Alan. When they got off the elevator, they saw Monica in the hallway as Jason went over to her. "When you called Alexis, we were already on our way. The traffic was horrible." He shook his head. "Everyone is okay?"
Monica took the baby from Dylan, and smiled. "Oh, Courtney, Dylan. She's just so beautiful. And, she has your blue eyes, Dylan." She, looked at him. "I should go and call Alexis and Nikki. Alexis is probably a nervous wreck by now." She handed the baby, over to Courtney. "I'll be right back, kids." She then left, to make the calls.
As Dylan walked in with Monica, he chuckled softly at Courtney's comment. "I certainly try, Mrs. McAvoy. Although, to be fair, I was just as surprised when I found out that we had twins." He kissed her softly on the lips and kissed her forehead then looked at the girls. "I would love to hold one of my daughters." He went over to the crib and took out one of the girls. "Monica, here is your granddaughter." He placed the baby in her arms then took the other baby as he felt his eyes start to water up. "Hi, sweetheart. I'm your dad." He bent down to kiss her on her forehead.
Courtney opened her eyes, when she heard them come in. She, smiled softly at them. "Well, Mr. Dylan McAvoy. You, certainly know, how to surprise your wife. Don't you. Hi, mom." She, giggled. Would you two, like to hold, our baby girls."
Dylan nodded his head when he heard Britt. "Thank you, Britt for everything." He smiled at her then hugged Monica back a little bit tighter. "Thank you, Monica. For being here and staying with me keeping me calm. I'm so grateful to have you as a mother." He kissed her cheek as they went into the icu and smiled when he saw the babies with Courtney.
A little bit later, Britt came back out. "Dylan, Monica. Come and see your girls. They're waiting for you." She took Dylan's hand, and brought him into the ICU. We're just keeping them here, for a day or so, just to make sure every one is okay. But, don't worry. They're just fine. I'll be outside, if you need me." She then left them.
