07/08/2017  Special Session : Svala & Skadi Category: Uncategorized Brynhildr had been amused when one of her newest had brought word to her that her elder sister wanted to try her hand at sparring, with the likes of them and other female warriors of their realm. It was an easy feat to set up, Svala was after all her sister in law, and the daughter of Loki never backed down form a challenge. Bryn wouldn't take the time to arrange it in the training yards, she wouldn't take up the time and space from those who needed it there for untried and untested fighters. So to ensure Skadi got some privacy she brought the ladies out to her wooded training center. Different from the flat clean floors inside their compound, or the dirt ring that was again flat if muddy, this was deep in the woods behind her home. Ancient tree roots twisted from the ground, making the terrain uneven and unpredictable in battle, something she liked for her girls and thought would be amusing now. A thick canopy of summer green leaves covered their head, shielding them form the sun and making it cooler where they stood then most of the rest of glittering Asgard. 	Moira Riddick {Yggdrasil Kingdom} *KOED-HyB*	The ghost of a smile pulled at her lips as she accepted the wine from Yelena, complete with no spitting which was a change she didn't expect to last long if she screwed up during training, but now to watch Svala lay down some lessons it was welcome. 	The Warrior Svala ||Loki Daughter|| {Yggdrasil Kingdom} [Order of Dreki]	Svala laughed, a chuckle that grew, bubbling up because the show of temper was just to easy to get out of the girl. She leaned forward slightly with her chuckles, before she held her staff out pointing it at Skadi, "Listen," she began, knocking the tip of her staff against the one the girl had planted in the ground. "I get it, your upset my daddy made your daddy sad. But chill, its not gonna be fun beating you so quickly because your sloppy and untrained. Give a little more fight then your family did yes?" She thought it was amusing the girl that she, a half frost giant might be intimidated by ice, but it was just to comical for words. Without warning she whipped her staff around, feigning to the left and letting the wind of the swing brush the girls cheek before sharply cutting to the other side, this time letting the wood swing hard and fast to connect. 	|Devasha The Valkyrie|{Yggdrasil Kingdom}	Devasha was sharping a blade on the end of her favorite spear she was told she was lucky it hadn't been broken yet when she heard the stripped highborn enter the woods she looked up from her blade to gawk at her for doing her hair now and she smirked at Svala's dig and laughed when Yelena complained. 	Yelena~Valkyrie of light{Yggdrasil Kingdom}	Yelena was leaning against the tree Mo was hoisted up upon and her eyes to the make shift training grounds a smirk on her place. Svala was a great fighter one of the best and her remark about princess had her snorting. "Who wouldn't come prepared with their hair done? Such a time waster." she rolled her eyes and spat at the roots near her feet and she looked up at Mo holding up a sack of wine to her. The girl went to sit and Svala smirked, not a kind expression, pushing off from where she rested against the tree. She stalked into the center, or as close to center as a space can be when its not any one perfect shape. Usually she would have a sword on her hip and an axe across her back but today since she didn't want to hurt the girl she had asked For heavy staffs to be on hand. She kicked one up with her foot, catching it and starting to swing it, back and forth, over under so the blur of it created a perfect 8 in the air. "Come on princess, we haven't got all day." Svala knew it was mean, the girl had no title, while Svala was the daughter of the king, but she liked to get in peoples heads when fighting, something Club Scarab had taught her. 	Kitta Daughter of Thaizi {Yggradsil Kingdom}	Kitta watched Skadi move towards her, watching if a little confused that she didn't move right into position. But she let her finish her hair before she murmured, "You should probably get up there and get started." She lifted her boot to prop on the root she was sitting on, looping her arms around it as she relaxed into her observance. She was glad to just be watching fighting today, she got more then her desired share of bruises courtesy of her own training. She had her thumbs hooked into her pockets, the fingers on her right hand drumming on her thigh. She wasn't impatient but she also wanted to get a move on. She looked across the way at the blond who was new to these ranks, shed never seen her around her brothers home before. "Wheres your sister?" 	Róta Rain Bringer [Valkyrie] {Yggdrasil Kingdom}	Róta had heard about a fight and had been all but giddy in the idea that it wasnt one of them, it was instead like a show for them. She had talked Devashas ear off about the possibilities, because one was one of Asgards most famous fighters and the other was an entire unknown. She was eager to see how this played out. 	Kitta Daughter of Thaizi {Yggradsil Kingdom}	Choosing a root Kitta slid to sitting down, crossing one leg over the other as if she wore a gown and not training leathers. She wasnt smeared in mud, so she felt more like a queen now then she had in days. And she had to be here for this, to see how her sisters challenge played out in the ring.
