The first King of Earth was Rhöig Aerde Baer

“The first Earth King was King Baer.  Some consider Him the most docile, and passive of the First Kings.  This is not to be mistaken for weakness though, because King Baer was not a weak man by any means.  He was kind to all, and respectful of the wishes of Most.  He was the first of what the Humans now call ‘Vegan’ before the Humans were even a consideration of beings.  He only ate that which came from His land.  Fruit, and vegetation from throughout the land.  No animals were allowed to be harmed, for they might be someone known to You in a secret form.  Hunting was outlawed in the Earth Kingdom, and animals treated as equals.  Those that crossed the King by breaking the only law in the land were sent out into one of the mountain caves where they would be judged by the Earth elemental dragons that resided at the very tops of the mountains.  Very few ever returned.  This arrangement kept the Dragons in their Mountain tops away from the People of the Main lands.  Once people learned what happened when You broke the rules though, they stopped breaking them.  No laws to break meant no more food supply to the dragons.  The dragons grew angry when their sacrifices had stopped, and attacked the Kingdom.  The King refused to fight back, and was Killed.  His Son took over the Kingdom after Him, and set up an arrangement with the Dragons where a sacrifice would be brought to them each Equinox.  The Sacrifice was, and still is to this day chosen by the Ruler themselves, and sent into the Mountains to face the dragons alone, and unarmed.  In the Winter the Ruler chooses the best warrior to send into the Mountains with the sacrifice, and are an offering as a mate to continue the Dragon’s line.”
