(This is about the Susan Smith murders, but written from the viewpoint of a black man who's frustrated with how racist some people can be sometimes.)
Blame me for all of your problems, I am the scapegoat.
Using race as a means to pass guilt and obscure truth.
Conveying your biased feelings into a preconceived lie.
Typical excuse to cover up the sins of your wrongdoings.
Committing heinous atrocities for your own sickened pleasures.
Spinning a web of false violence perpetrated by another.
Fooling an entire nation as their anger steadily increases,
Toward a violent black criminal who exists only in their minds.
Futilely searching for a felon at large when one lives among them.
Disbelieving heads are shaking when one of their own is charged.
Mother of two cruelly murdering her innocent young children.
Lust after another drove her to commit a most heinous crime.
Spewing a fabricated tale of violation by an African American male.
Proving yet again that widespread racial injustice is commonplace.
Still you blame me nonetheless, persistent in your cowardly ways.
Fueling the flames of ignorance as your search for a scapegoat continues.
