Cry for help Amora and Maria Category: Blogging
Maria left the house with a slam of the door and words that weren't for the faint of heart. This was the last time someone told her what to do and how to do it since they were the ones who were responsible for how she was in the first place. As she held her keys in her hand she remembered her car was in the shop due to her last episode and that frustrated her even more. So with her keys held tightly in her hand, she started to walk until it was dark and she was in the middle of nowhere. That didn't frighten her since she had the moon to light her way and then she stopped as she heard the sound of water. There was a lake nearby and that made her think of something she remembered her aunt say about water and how it calmed the soul. She would need an entire ocean for that to happen to her but the lake would be a start just as long as no one was there to disturb her. The area was free of people and only the sounds of nature were present. She sat close to the water in the thick grass and looked up at the sky. The stars were bright and the moon was full so the area was lit extremely well. With a deep breath, she closed her eyes and began to focus on being calm but she didn't feel anything. Instead, she began to hear things and feel things from her past, arguments with her aunt, friends, and those who tried to be close to her, and with all of that she started to lose control. Who her parents were was never told to her since it was for her protection that it remained a secret and because of that, her anger and rage grew even more. The wind began to pick up and soon after that, it began to howl. No matter how hard she tried to keep it together, she felt she was seconds away from completely losing control. She never asked for help before or would due to her pride but right now at that moment, she felt like she would explode. Her fingers dug deep in the earth as the wind swirled around her and if any other being was around, they would have no idea what was causing this strange weather. The rain began to beat down on her harder and harder yet she did not budge. Her eyes closed tightly and the thought of asking, no yelling, for help came to her mind then slowly her lips parted and a sound came from them. It was faint, almost a whisper, but she did it. The words "help me..." came from her and though she was there alone, she wondered if there was anyone around who would hear her or take the chance in even attempting to come near her while she was out of control. |
