Jason nodded his head. "That is for sure. You wish time would stand still but unfortunately it doesn't. That is why I always make sure to have time for my family. Nothing is more important to me than that." He smiled softly at them.
Ryan nodded his head. "Yes, I can grill chicken too." He chuckled softly. "I have no problem being on grilling duty." He shook his hand then went over to where the grill was. He took the apron and put it on. Then started the grill up. He opened up a package of hamburgers and placed them on the grill.
"That is quite the resume you have there, Mr. Lavery." Jason smirked. "I take it that you can grill chicken as well? It is official then, you are on grilling duty, my friend. We have a lovely apron for you and everything."
Ryan looked at him and smirked. "My grilling skills are pretty good. I'm great with grilling hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, steak, fish, filet mignon."
Jason chuckled softly when he saw how excited the kids got. "That's the spirit!" He saw Ryan come over. "Hey Ryan. Thank you for coming. Well, Patrick and I are always brainstorming different ideas to make the hospital better. We thought with the end of Summer near, we would have a picnic." He smiled.
Ryan came to the park and smiled when he saw Jason, Alexis and the kids. "Hi everybody." He hugged them. "This was a really good idea to do this. Not to mention that it's also for a good cause."
It was the day of the first annual General Hospital Picnic to raise money for the Pediatric Wing. Jason was at the park with Alexis and the kids. "Could not have picked a more perfect day for this picnic. The weather is absolutely beautiful." He smiled. "Are you guys ready for a lot of fun and food?" He asked the kids.
Drew smiled softly at her. “That is great to hear, Victoria. I am very happy for you and Patrick.” He chuckled as he saw the kids pick the tree. “That is a nice big one, guys. Good job.”
