(Rebecca is forced to fight a terrifying monster who's been murdering innocent people in cold blood, thus putting her new sanguine virus powers to the ultimate test in this insane battle of survival!)

The unknown creature menacingly glared at the dozen or so biters headed in its general direction, but these slow moving former humans were no match for this huge individual, and he easily annihilated them with barely any effort whatsoever, before viciously stomping on their heads as blood, brain matter and bodily organs soon covered the general area where the attack first began! It then let out a dreadful scream before quickly moving back into the woods, and even though the large cryptid would venture far away from Woodbury's outskirts this evening, rest assured that it and the one called Rebecca Chambers would eventually come face to face, engaging in a brutal encounter with the possible survival of Woodbury itself at stake!

Rebecca could feel the unholy entity closing in on her, thus leaving the young woman no alternative but to stand her ground and fight, but thankfully the sanguine virus was getting even stronger with every passing day, giving her both the strength and endurance to face the Gugwe as it roared at the top of its powerful lungs! This particular species of Sasquatch was far more dangerous than the normally shy and misunderstood version which many people were familiar with through folklore and actual face to face encounters, for it had a baboon or gorilla like face as opposed to the almost human looking one which those others so often possessed, and it was absolutely not for nothing that Native Americans called this the face eater, because the Gugwe literally consumed the flesh of humans which also included a certain area of their bodies as well. Rebecca had found the savagely butchered and partially eaten remains of an entire family who'd met their unfortunate demise at the hands of this foul beast, but she was steadfastly determined never to let this happen again no matter what, so the brave and courageous female actually made the first move as she lunged at it with rigid teeth made all the more robust by the virus, tearing a huge chunk of flesh from the animal's right thigh while her abnormally strong nails sunk deeply into the Gugwe's large chest, and for several moments Rebecca even managed to overpower the ten foot tall, one thousand pound cryptid with relative ease, before it finally threw her off with a vicious swipe of its left hand! Rebecca landed against the side of an huge oak tree, the violent impact making a sickening thud as several ribs were broken from both the creature's blow and the subsequent collision with the unforgiving wood. Blood began pouring from her mouth as she took short and no doubt painful breaths, but before she could even blink the Gugwe had one hand around her neck, preparing to sink its sharp teeth and end her existence once and for all, however she quickly recovered before grabbing a thick, sharp piece of wood which had broken off from her impact only moments before!

"Not today you motherfucker! You hear me!!! Not fucking today!"

With unimaginable strength for a human, although by now Rebecca was anything but a normal person, she suddenly drove the potentially deadly weapon right through the Gugwe's neck, as blood spilled from the rather large wound which also severed tendons and ruptured nerves for good measure! Crying in severe agony, the severely injured cryptid began staggering back before finally collapsing to the ground as Rebecca moved in for the kill, but even then the beast managed to inflict more bodily harm as he sliced open her neck and stomach with one final swing from it's powerful right claw! Rebecca felt that these new injuries, as painful as they were at the current moment, would not be enough to kill her and even if that happened, right now nothing else mattered except for putting a stop to this Gugwe's reign of terror once and for all, so she screamed with all her might before wrapping both hands around his massive head, then twisting it in the most awkward and painful way imaginable! Finally the Gugwe was dead but the sanguine virus has temporarily made Rebecca almost powerful beyond belief, so she viciously ripped his head off as blood and gore splattered her entire body from head to toe! Tossing the severed body part away, she then stood back up again and screamed so loudly in triumph that any normal human's ears would have instantly been damaged beyond repair, but at last Rebecca wandered off for a bit before collapsing against the same tree where it had thrown her against during their brutal encounter. She somehow managed to drift off to a truly restless and not so pleasant sleep, waking up an entire day later to see that the dead Gugwe was still in the same position it had been in since she'd taken its final breath. Rebecca however, had now turned very pale and her intestines were also hanging out from her gutted stomach, while the neck injury ended up being worse than she'd previously thought, and there could be not the slightest doubt that this fearless female was indeed dying. Seeing no other alternative than to drink blood, whether fresh or otherwise as soon as possible, Rebecca slowly crawled over before sinking her teeth into the slain creature's stomach, forcing herself to consume its less than pleasant tasting crimson in order to possibly stop the imminent death which was so closely at hand. Thus Rebecca discovered the most important rule of having the sanguine virus; she must quickly drink blood to heal any injuries but in the case of severe ones, the lovely young woman cannot waste even a single second longer than necessary before consuming it, because the harsh reality is that she can still die under certain circumstances, and was far from invincible and most certainly not immortal either!
