The Transformation
Like a right of passage, every Saiyan worth his salt can transform. When you transform into a higher state of being, everything becomes aware. Your senses are heightened, your strength is amplified and your spirit is on a whole other level playing field than your normal opponent. It's called, a Super Saiyan.
In his Universe, this was of myth and legend. Only one had managed to achieve this legendary feat, however, The Great Ape destroyed himself. The Legendary Saiyan warrior had to physically transform into a Giant Ape to house the power, and it consumed him. It was spoken both out of fear, and respect. It was a symbol of hope. Spoken through hushed corridors of when Lord Faust's men were not around.
His people were a slave, people. They were made to conquer planets and exchange them for a profit in a black market deal to their ruler and captor, Lord Faust. He was not of the royal blood-line, a commoner among many. A low-class level of power, that would have made anyone laugh. He had gotten stronger each time, each battle that had left him for dead and it would have him come back even stronger than ever. He lived for battle, the thrill of near-death, was something that boiled in his blood and he was a warrior by heart and spirit.
Lately, he and his men had started to grow tired of how Lord Faust had been treating them. Even the Royal High King of the planet was made to scrip and bow and do his dirty work. They had gotten no respect for things that should have brought honor to him. His mentor Saigon had warned him to stay away and not get into it with the powerful Lord Faust. The horned demon-like monster that ruled with an iron fist.
Ansem had done nothing to Lord Faust, he was merely in the way. Not even in the way and his mentor had paid the price. This man was a father to him. They had gone through many battles together and always had come out on top. Each watching the backs of the other, each caring about each other. Ansem had returned to planet from an off-planet mission with a small squad of his men. When Ansem returned, he found his mentor dead in an alley.
It was more than he could bear. He saw the two henchmen of Lord Faust standing there. Ugly creatures, that's what they were. Creatures. His men had followed close behind him. His men charged in, but Ansem knew better. They fought but were no match against these men. If you could call them that. They slaughtered his men without remorse. Without mercy, they laughed at him. A wild, blinding fury had been coursing through his body.
“Oh look, it's one of the low-class warriors, Ansem is it not? Pathetic, Lord Faust has held you in the highest regard. Even up till when he slaughtered your mentor Saigon.” One of the creatures said while the other snarled and chuckled amusingly. “We feasted on his blood, it was delicious..” the same creature who had spoken before said in a weird alien voice. The other licked its lips and the ground continued to shake beneath them
It was shaking from the fury housed within his soul. Something had snapped. The sight of his dead mentor, and his team. Something he couldn't shake. He remembered them laughing at their victories. “We had done everything for him. Everything for that.... that BASTARD!!!” He shouted at the two and their arrogant gazes suddenly turned to shock
Their scanning power devices, known as Scouters started going crazy. It housed readings they never encountered before, and the two devices busted off their faces after. It made them flinch. “What madness.. is this?!” The other, chubbier henchmen questioned. Backing away in fear, while his friend stared in awe.
Ansem was getting lost in an endless sea of power. Anyone less and the power would have destroyed them entirely, yet, Ansem was different. He couldn't tell why or how. His body was shaking, convulsing. Every fiber of his being was like a million volts of lightning coursing through him. The fire boiled and raged through him. The skies turned dark from the result of the power that was being emitted.
“Let's talk about this..” The thinner guy said, backing away more now. “Talk..” Ansem said, seething through gritted teeth while his fists were clenched together tightly. So tightly, that blood had been dripping from the way he was gripping his fists together. “Sure, we can talk..” Each word was like a grimace, almost. He barely could get it out, he was being lost within the power of this new transformation. “Let's talk about how you killed an old man for no reason, or how you slaughtered my men without mercy. Did you get to talk then?!!” He shouted, while a loud clap of thunder burned through the sky, followed by an intense flash of lightning.
His body shook upward and his dark, black hair turned to gold for a brief moment while a blinding light of gold aura had emerged from within his being. They looked at him. “What kind of transformation is this??!!!” They shouted together. “I will make you Pay!!” He shouted intensely, the storm itself raged on like the cause of it was the blinding rage that had been consuming him. An intense explosion burst throughout the area they were standing and the two creatures shielded themselves from the blinding explosion.
When they returned their gaze, it was meant with shock and fear. Ansem had transformed into a higher state of himself. The energy he was emitting was endless, and the void of the well he tapped into just grew bigger each time he channeled it. He was 'lost' within this new form. So to speak. He was in control. His short dark hair turned into long spiked golden hair. His dark-colored eyes turned blue, and the golden aura of energy that had been surrounding him, spiked and flamed even higher now. The ground itself shook from the intensity of the power, cracking beneath him towards the two.
He disappeared instantly and landed one punch against the larger creature. It hunched over in pain, spitting up dark, purple blood. His friend looked on in shock. “How.... one? Punch? What.. transformation... is this...??” He said in fear. His voice shaky while he tried to get away, flying off in the air at an incredible speed, Ansem looked on and disappeared from a standing position. Cutting the guy off in mid-flight, Ansem shot an intense energy wave at him that caused the creature to explode. He did the same to the other creature.
Ansem turned to face the ship that was hovering in the air. He could feel the presence of the tyrant. Disappearing, he made his way to the ship. “Faust!!! Your time is over!!!” Ansem shouted at him through his spaceship. Faust emerged from the haul of the hovering ship. He looked on with surprised amusement. He laughed softly. “Well well, it seems the Monkey has discovered the golden-fleece,” Faust said. Ansem had said nothing but continued his intense gaze back towards the monster-devil-like creature. “Too bad, it won't help you in the end.”
Faust said, shooting a thin blast of powerful energy at Ansem. It went right through Ansem. “What?!!” Faust shouted angrily. “That's my most intense blast..!!” Faust shouted angrily. He held up his finger again and shot multiple times this time. The blasts continued to go right through Ansem. To the naked eye, it'd have appeared that Ansem had been standing still. In reality, Ansem was moving so fast that it looked like he was standing still. The beams were missing his body or going through it, because he was going so fast that the eye couldn't see it, or he could barely feel and sense the energy of it.
Ansem disappeared and appeared in front of Faust with his hands around his neck. Faust struggled against the grip, but his power was too much. The once-mighty, powerful tyrant ruler of his race was now coming to an end. Faust struggled for all he was worth, but he couldn't and then let out a smile. “So, the monkey race finally produced its champion.. a little too late..” He said weakly. Pressing a button on the gauntlet of his right arm he was wearing.
It lit up, “No..” Ansem said, looking back down at his planet. Thousands of not millions of explosions started happening all around the planet's surface. Faust began laughing, it was hard to hear because he was still being choked, but the weakness to his voice didn't stop him from having the last laugh. “Every little monkey...” He said weakly, “Dead,” he cackled with weak laughter some more now. “You BASTARD!!” Ansem shouted, feeling the pain of not being connected with his people anymore. A hand tore through the other side of Faust's body.
A dark green-black heart emerged from his body. Faust's eyes went wide and white while his breathing grew heavier now. “Just a mon...key..” he said weakly, when Faust shot a final energy wave at him, destroying him for good. Ansem looked down in mourning respect to his fallen people. The threat of the Galaxy was over, the evil rule of the tyrant had been extinguished, but at what cost? His entire race, destroyed. He was the last remaining survivor of an ancient, proud warrior race. “I am sorry..” he said softly, hovering in the air.
The ship was still hovering in the air. He took one last look, not being able to feel or sense a connection with anyone else left, he flew towards the ship and headed into the Universe.
