Jason stopped by Luke's Club and came inside. "Hey guys. Hope you don't mind. I just wanted to come by and see the place. It looks amazing. Really glad you decided to bring this place back. When are you opening?"
Lucky smiled when he heard Ryan. “Thank you, Ryan. It has been an absolute blast working on this club. I could not ask for a better partner than Dylan. He really knows his stuff when it comes to restaurants and clubs.”
Dylan smiled softly when he heard what Lucky said about Elizabeth. “That is great to hear. Elizabeth is a wonderful person. She deserves nothing but the best just like you. I hope things work out for all of you.” He turned his head when he heard Ryan. “Hey Ryan.” He stood up to shake his hand and hugged him. “Of course, you can come by. Thank you.”
Ryan made his way to Luke’s Club and smiled when he saw Dylan and Lucky. “Hey guys. I hope you don’t mind. I know the club isn’t opened yet but I just wanted to come and congratulate you.” He went over to them and shook their hands and hugged them. “It looks amazing!” He smiled.
Lucky nodded his head and smiled. “The same can be said for my dad. I’ve never seen him like this before. I’m really happy for him and Nikki. Things with Elizabeth are going great. She’s one of the reasons why I came back to Port Charles. She was my first love. It started when we were teenagers. Then as adults, we got married. Things were great. So much has happened between us over the years and unfortunately our relationship couldn’t take it.” He sighed. “Since, I’ve been away. It made me realize just how much I missed her and of course the boys. I just wanted to see if there was possibly a chance for us to try again. Now, we’re together again and this time, I am determined to make this work. There is no one else for me. Elizabeth is the one and always has been.”
Dylan smiled. “I still can’t believe it. I’m really looking forward to getting to know him. Nikki is so happy since they got back together. The whole time I have known her, I have never seen her this happy. Not even when she was married to Victor. How are things going with Elizabeth?”
Lucky chuckled softly. “That is for sure. My dad could definitely surprise you with his connections. You never know. He might still even have them.” He smiled.
Dylan took a sip of his beer and looked at him shocked. “Did you just say BB King? As in jazz legend, BB King? Wow! That is impressive. I remember All 4 One. They were so popular back in the day. If you wanted to win a girl over, all you had to do was use one of their songs to do the trick.” He chuckled softly. “That is awesome though. I had no idea that Luke had those type of connections.” He smiled.
Lucky took the beer bottle from him and smiled. “Thank you, Dylan.” He took a sip of it. “I feel the same exact way about you. After all, we’re brothers now. Some of the famous musical acts my dad was able to get was BB King, who in fact was the very first musical act. He was also able to get that group, All 4 One.”
Dylan smiled at him. “Really? Who were some of the musical artists that performed here?” He asked as he grabbed two beer bottles and gave him one. “It’s been a pleasure working with you too, Lucky. I had a great time getting to know you and learn about the history of the club.”
Lucky nodded his head and smiled. “It does. When I was a teenager, I used to love coming here for a good time. The food was great, the music. Sometimes we would even get popular musicians to perform. Those were the best. It’s been so great working with you. Could not ask for a better partner.”
Dylan was behind the bar fixing everything when he heard Lucky and smiled. “It does look great, doesn’t it? Does it bring back all of those memories you told me about when you were growing up?”
