Patrick was a little shocked when he heard him. "You want me to do a Medical Podcast for Chancellor Communications?" He shook his head. "I'm honored and everything but I don't know.
With everything that I have going on at the hospital. Then Victoria and the kids."
Billy looked at him. "The reason I called you is because I have a business proposition for you. Chancellor Communications is going to enter the field of Podcasting. Podcasts have become very popular the last few years. Now, it is our turn to enter that world.
You are probably wondering where you come in with this. That is very simple.
One of the podcasts we are going to do is a Medical one. Who better to host it than you? After all, you are the Chief of Staff of General Hospital. Not to mention the best neurosurgeon out there.
What do you say? Will you do it?"
Patrick smiled as he felt his hug. He hugged him back a little bit tighter. "It's nice to see you again too, Dylan. I'm not interrupting anything am I? If so, I can come back." He saw them shake their heads and watched Dylan leave.
He looked at Billy. "I came as soon as I could. What's going on?" He asked as he sat down.
Dylan smiled softly when he heard him. "I'm gonna get going. If there is anything that you need, don't hesitate to call." He hugged him then went over to the door and opened it. "Hey Patrick. It's nice to see you again." He hugged him.
Patrick was on his lunch break from the hospital when he received Billy's phone call. He made his way to Chancellor Communications and went up to his office. He knocked on the door.
Billy sighed when he heard him. "Dylan, you had quite a lot going on as well back then. You just found out that Connor wasn't your son. That Chelsea lied to you from the beginning and that caused you to go into one of your ptsd bouts." He shook his head. "Don't worry about it. Everything is fine. For the record, I know that you are going to be there for us. You always are." He gave him a soft smile.
Dylan smiled softly when he heard him. "Billy, you are an amazing father. When Kristina joined that cult, the way you stepped up for them when they needed you the most. Even though you were going through a lot as well. It didn't matter because you knew that Billy and Adella come first and that is exactly what you did. Then Sharon came into your life and you managed to create a beautiful family together. Those kids love and adore you. I know that Delia would be proud of you. She was a sweet kid.
Alright, I will talk to Paul about reopening the case. This way, you and Chloe can get answers." He looked at him. "Back then, I wasn't there for you like I should have been." He sighed. "You were there for me numerous times. Granted, I was going through a lot as well. This time around, you have my word that I will be there for you, Billy. I will be there for you and Chloe. Whatever you need. Just name it."
Billy heard what he said about Victoria. "Now that is true." He smiled. "Thank you. As you know it has taken me a long time to get to this point in my life. Being with Sharon just makes me want to keep bettering myself and being the best version I can be. My kids, they are my world. They deserve the best father that I can be to them. That is what Delia would want as well. That is how I choose to honor her." He nodded his. "Yes, I did speak to Chloe about this. Even though, it's going to be tough. If it wasn't Adam, we want to find out who killed our little girl that night. So yes, we want the case reopened."
Dylan nodded his head. "Of course, Billy. What's going on?" He asked as he watched him lock the door. He followed him over to the table and sat down across from him. "You think that Adam is innocent? From what I heard there were a few cars that went down that road that night. When Victoria says something, she is usually spot on." He looked at him. "I know you're in a better place mentally now which is great. Sharon and the kids do need you. You want me to reopen the case? Have you spoken to Chloe about this?"
Billy saw Dylan come in and smiled. "Thank you for coming." He got up and went over to the door to lock it. "The reason why I called you here is because it's important." He took a deep breath. "It's about Delia and the night she was killed." He sighed then went over to the table and sat down. "A few weeks ago Victoria and I were reminiscing. We were also talking about how far Adam has come. She brought up the idea that perhaps Adam is innocent. She may be right." He looked at him. "You have nothing to worry about when it comes to me. I am in a much better place mentally than I was back then. There's Sharon and the kids. They mean everything to me. I am not going to jeopardize that for revenge. It's not worth it."
After receiving Billy's phone call. Dylan headed straight to the Metro Court Hotel and went up to Chancellor Communications. He went over to his office and knocked on the door. When he heard him say to come in, he opened the door. "Hey Billy." He shut the door and went over to him. "I came as soon as I could. Is everything okay?" He asked with concern.
