Nikolas nodded his head and smiled when he heard Spencer. "Yes, Spencer. I do want you to be my COO. There is no one better for the role than you. You have worked so hard since you came on board." He smiled when he said yes and hugged him. "I will tell the PR Department so they can make an official announcement. I will also get you a new nameplate. Actually two, one for your office door and one for your desk. We will also go out to celebrate." He heard the knock on the door. "Come in." He yelled.
Spencer was a little shocked when he offered him the COO position. "Wow. I don't know what to say. You want me to be your COO?" He took a deep breath. "It has been great working with you. Not to mention that you have taught me a lot. I would be honored to be your Chief Operating Officer, Dad. My answer is yes."
Nikolas smiled softly when he heard him. "I love you too, Son." He looked at him. "I do have a business proposition for you." They went over to the sofa and sat down. "You have been working here for a couple of years now with no special title. I think it's time that we change that. Not to mention that you have earned it. It's been great being CEO of Cassadine Industries. With every great CEO, we need a great COO. So, how would you like to by COO?"
Spencer gave him a soft smile. "Thank you, Dad." He nodded his head. "Yes, you have told me however I never get tired of hearing it. The man I am today is because of you. When we thought Mom was dead, you raised me and took care of me. You taught me right from wrong. I love you, Dad." He felt his hug and hugged him back a little bit tighter.
Nikolas smiled softly when he saw Spencer come in. "Hey Spencer. Thank you." He took the contracts from him and placed them on the desk. He looked at him. "Have I told you lately how proud I am of you? Not only the work you have done here at Cassadine Industries. Which has been remarkable. Also, of the man you have become. I am honored to be your father." He patted his shoulder and hugged him.
