The Walking Dead: Rise of the Dogmen (Parts Three and Four)
Category: Blogging

(There's some time jumps going on here, because part four actually takes place before part three.)

Part Three:

The four men and two women departed Woodbury the following day, looking for the Governor and Rebecca Chambers, who had herself disobeyed his explicit orders not to follow him no matter what, because those missing community members were his responsibility alone, and Philip Blake would be damn if he'd ever allow someone else to do his dirty work by taking chances that he, himself would never think of doing but at the same time, much like Rebecca these brave Woodbury soldiers both greatly admired and also deeply respected their charismatic leader, thus resulting in them taking up arms in an undoubtedly brave, yet quite reckless attempt at finding everyone else who was currently missing out there. There was no one person in charge, just six people very much wanting to do the right thing, but all of them indeed noticed the extreme lack of biters around here, as if something had basically annihilated these sometimes rather large and formidable herds, yet before any of these people could mention this very odd fact for others to hear, all suddenly went quite around them, with no birds chirping as nature's beauty became deathly silent, despite this being a cool and crisp November morning.

The alpha male and alpha female dogman wasted no time in brutally avenging their two slain juvenile offspring, charging in at an incredible speed which took the unsuspecting humans by complete surprise, as two men were instantly decapitated by powerful blows, blood gushing forth while their now headless bodies violently convulsed before falling to the cold, hard ground as the other four looked on in sheer, unadulterated terror! My God, the mere sight of such huge creatures launching a brazen daytime attack was truly terrible to behold, but before anyone else could react the two women's stomachs were disemboweled on the spot, their intestines and other internal organs gushing forth while gore splattered the immediate area around them, but the last two Woodbury soldiers barely had time to even raise their rifles before they too, were savagely and cruelly ripped to shreds by these insanely large creatures, for they were not werewolves but rather something much, much worse instead! Unlike those hideous creatures of myth and legend, these gruesome beasts never needed nor even cared for the full moon to take effect before attacking, thus allowing them to strike at any time both day and night, yet they were also extremely intelligent and very difficult to kill once fully grown, so after stopping to devour these unfortunate individuals until basically very little remained, these two undisputed leaders then departed but things would only go from bad to worse, for soon the entire pack would embark upon a united mission involving the complete destruction of none other than Woodbury itself!

Part Four:

The Governor and Rebecca Chambers had both somehow managed to fall asleep during the night, their dreams nothing more than nightmares but they were left alone by these vengeful creatures, at least until right before dawn when a forceful impact was made against the outside of their new home, yet the thick and sturdy cabin door held firm as they were jarred wide awake, with Philip reaching for his weapons as Rebecca returned to full strength, the sanguine virus once more kicking in which greatly increased her speed and power, almost to the point of her unlocking and opening the door, no doubt blindly charging out to confront multiple dogmen but at the last second she stopped, then looked at Philip while slowly nodding as well.

"Yes sir, it's a fucking trap and they want to lure me outside, while more of them force their way in to finish the goddamn job! Father, look out!"

Philip quickly turned around and despite the pain of his broken ribs, managed to get off more than a few shots after one dogman broke the left window with its right arm, only for the creature to roar in pain before retreating and bounding away on all fours, while Rebecca drove a long, sharp butcher knife through a second animal's neck, after it had also broken the only other window inside the small cabin, which was to her right but this time the now severely wounded creature slowly staggered away on two legs, however only Rebecca had the strength to ever do something along those lines in the first place, as the still relatively new virus inside her gave this courageous woman enough power to use such weapons with great efficiency! However, Rebecca's human body sometimes fought against said virus, and it only took this brief moment of resistance for yet another dogman to reach through the window and pull her outside, causing Philip to scream at the tops of his lungs, but the Governor wasn't about to let Rebecca die without at least doing something about it, so the defiant Woodbury leader swung the door open and would have began firing at any dogman he saw, yet none were to be found because they, along with Rebecca were all gone as morning finally arrived!
