Four of the Apocalypse (Part One) Category: Blogging
(Walking Dead characters are now fighting for survival in the old west, but can Nari, Yaozu, The Governor and Rebecca Chambers save General Negan and company before it's too late? Only time will tell whether or not anyone survives this brutal summer of 1876, but unfortunately for General Crook and Lieutenant Colonel Custer, the respective battles of Rosebud and Little Bighorn will be far more different than expected, thus resulting in untold carnage as human lives expire by the many hundreds! Oh and the walkers will be faster, stronger and slightly more intelligent than normal as well! The Saviors, although they're not called that here, are in charge of the main fort, but unlike on the show, they're actually friendly and just want to help out in any way possible, and yes I tried to be mostly historically accurate too, but some things were changed in order to better fit into this particular story.)
Timeline 1876.
Rosebud Massacre:
Rosebud had been a complete and utter fucking disaster to say the very least, because despite Brigadier General Crook being warned ahead of time by his loyal and faithful Crow and Shoshoni scouts, nothing could have prepared anyone for what was about to happen, because the attacking Sioux and Cheyenne warriors were in fact, not actually human but something else instead, and even those usually brave and fearless scouts showed signs of more than a little fear, for half of them had already been brutally ripped and torn apart by what could only be described as undead creatures, or something along those lines and now Crook was most definitely on the defensive as well! Strangely enough, these beings had no horses and they all attacked on foot, yet there were also women and even children and older people too, or rather what used to be called people, joining their male counterparts as they somewhat quickly advanced on the United States Army, before sinking their teeth and nails into screaming human beings, disemboweling them alive while ripping stomachs open and feasting upon innards and raw, delicious chunks of butchered meat, but almost no one ever figured out that the only way to kill these fucking things was by shooting them in the goddamn head, and by the time Crook was finally told about this, it was much too late and despite losing over half of their three thousand member herd, the walkers eventually massacred most of General Crook's thirteen hundred soldiers, and the few hundred survivors had no other choice but to flee for their very lives, but after finally meeting up with Custer at the Little Bighorn, they tried in vain to tell him what had just happened, yet he simply refused to believe them until both the Rosebud and Little Bighorn herd moved in for the kill, and with Crook now dead it only made things that much more difficult, but the worse was still yet to fucking come, because those slain Rosebud soldiers had also returned from the dead, joining the other herds which greatly increased their already formidable and imposing numbers!
Little Bighorn Slaughter:
Ten thousand walkers made short work of the eight hundred or so soldiers, because the new virus was rapidly spreading and turning people into flesh eating monsters, ones which not only were faster than expected, but also stronger and smarter as well, although their intelligence was no greater than that of a five year old child, but that was more than enough to use strategy to their advantage, as Lieutenant Colonel Custer found out in the most horrific way imaginable, for despite shooting thousands of savage walkers in the fucking head, they were simply too great in number as every last man was devoured alive, including Custer who had his goddamn neck ripped open by a hungry female walker, while her sharp nails tore into his stomach and removed intestines to feed upon, until he finally perished along with not only the entire 7th Cavalry, but also the remaining Rosebud survivors and two days later, Brigadier General Terry's advancing column at last arrived at the dreadful scene of carnage, but before the walkers could attack he turned his one thousand man unit around and began moving back to the main headquarters of Fort Laramie, Wyoming Territory, leaving behind the wretched scenes of Montana Territory, only to be followed by ever increasing numbers of extremely vicious walkers, yet eventually the cavalry and infantry made it there in one piece, where the overall commander awaited the less than pleasant news, and upon hearing it Major General Negan could hardly believe his ears, yet this was indeed a very harsh reality which he only reluctantly accepted, so with tears in his eyes the leader sat down and tried to process these tragic, unimaginable events!
An Approaching Battle:
General Negan and Colonel Simon discussed how to best defend Fort Laramie from being destroyed like Crook and Custer's doomed troops, but they both agreed to stand their fucking ground no matter what the cost, so with that in mind the combined force of over two thousand men and women awaited the arrival of those heinous looking entities, but what no one knew was that four mysterious individuals would soon be arriving as well, and could Nari, Yaozu, The Governor and Rebecca Chambers actually make a fucking difference, or might they also suffer the exact same fate as thousands of fallen soldiers, all of whom quickly returned from the dead unless shot through their heads after their unholy resurrection? Cannons and Gatling guns, along with many sticks of dynamite would soon be used to also combat this most deadly of threats, as Lieutenant Colonel Arat and Major Regina, for General Negan could give less than a flying fuck about gender in the army, consulted with the many civilians inside Fort Laramie, which included Rick Grimes, Maggie Greene, Michonne, Glenn Rhee, Abraham Ford, Rosita Espinosa, Carl Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Beth Greene, Hershel Greene, Carol Peletier, Morgan Jones, and other individuals too, while those four strangers continued riding closer while moving in from the opposite direction of the approaching walker herd.
