Prologue: The Modern End (Dark Multiverse)
Category: Uncategorized

Trigger warnings: blood, gore, mature language, use of torment and dark themes within. Viewer discretion is advised.

~And Then She Came~

Darkness. A void. Deep within a dark alley hides thugs throwing dice and betting on wins. Some can hear them beat up one another thinking the other cheated.

Thug: Hey!! You cheated!!

Thug 2: I won fair and square!

Thug: Oh please. You're too busy kissing ass to Phoenix Del Rose I hear.

Thug 3: She already has someone. Besides Gotham is in her hands right now. I heard she took on Two-Face and lived!

Something in the dark footsteps can be heard. They bolted up from where they sat as a black colored puddle forms and screams of lost souls can be heard from it. One went to investigate while the other two stayed back. A shadowy figure forms from the pool taking form of a woman dressed in red and black.

Small antlers can be seen on her head but soon faded as this mysterious woman keeps a disguise while holding what appears to be a cane that resembles a vintage microphone but a symbol shows a demonic eye.

Smoothing out her hair as she steps out of the dark pool, the men were awestruck by her beauty.

Thug: Damn! What's a pretty little thing like you doin' around here? It's not safe.

The woman opens her eyes and a flicker of red can be seen as the sclera is darker shade of red as she looks over at the men and speaks.

"Now, that is not a proper way to talk to a lady. But tell me, what did you mean by this place not being.......safe? Enlighten me."

Her voice sounded like she spoke into a microphone like the ones back in the 1930s-1940s. But her tone was smooth and very subtle in a way. She amusingly then walked toward the men while circling around them.

Thug 3: Usually pretty ladies like yourself don't really survive well.

Thug 2:-Smacks thug 3-Shut the fuck up!! You'll make her run. Though, heh, she does look appealing.

The woman dressed in her red regalia stared at the men and scrunched her nose while setting her cane down as the stick extended to touch the ground.

"What makes you think a girl like me would be appealing to you? Is that what I am? A piece of meat that you just want to ravish and take advantage of? I met men like you. They're........what was it? Oh yes.........dumbasses. But move aside."

Thug 2: Y'know, we're far back at the end of the alley. -Walks over and reaches in an attempt to grab her rear-

Quick thinking, the woman grabbed the man's hand gripping it tightly as the grin never left her face.

"Really? I'm afraid you picked the wrong woman. Or better yet, no women deserve whatever fucking ideas you have."

The grip tightened and the burning sensation started in the man's wrist as he screamed for help. The thugs tried defending their friend, she smirked as the view pans over to them as an evil dark silhouette forms a terrifying demonic shadow growing the size larger than them, screams can be heard but soon depleted as the mysterious woman walks out of the alley cleaning blood off herself and wiped her lips.

"Oh damn. I got stains on my outfit. Pity for them. I was starved. So this is Gotham City? Hmmm. Seems darker than when I heard or seen about it."

Stepping out while holding her trusty cane that looks like a vintage microphone behind her back as she looks around. No heroes in sight. Laughter can be heard in the distance to which caught her attention.

"Ah! Now I know why I am here. A certain fellow that lurks among the shadows and.......what's this? Hmmm.........another helps him. All I need is to get their attention. But first, time to bring radio back to this city."

A cackle escapes her lips as she made her way through the city. Shadows lurk in every corner that she summons and sends as she began her search for a radio station to deliver her message in hopes to get the one's attention.
