Kayako′s from the Asian "Ju-on" and American "Grudge" horror movies and can be a ghost or human. She had a horribly tragic past but only wishes to put all of that behind her right now, while also hoping to finally experience true peace in the afterlife as well. Although still quite violent and murderous at times, Kayako′s now managed to channel her anger in a mostly positive way, by punishing the guilty who truly deserve a fate worse than death!

"When someone dies amidst rage and intense wrath, those feelings remain at the death site and kills whoever it touches. I am the fulfiller of the Ju-on curse. My name is Kayako Saeki. My life was filled with misery and torment. My mother, who was a spirit exorcist, used me to eat the evil spirits she drove away from her patients. This led me to not only be scarred and traumatized for the rest of my life, but also to be shunned and rejected by all whom I came in contact with. Never did I have anyone who cared about me, but the feeling was mutual because I cared not for anyone else. This all changed after I graduated high school and entered into college, where I met a man named Shunsuke Kobayashi. He was the first and quite honestly, the only person I have ever truly loved. But for whatever reasons, perhaps due to my shyness and insecurity, I could not bring myself to confide my true feelings to him. Eventually he found someone else to be with, and I was alone once more, miserable and depressed. Years later, I married Takeo Saeki, who was the only person who accepted and understood my shy behavior. I was not particularly attracted to him, but he was the first man who ever said that he wanted me, so I accepted him as my husband. We had a son named Toshio, who was my pride and joy. I loved him dearly and cared for him greatly. After Toshio started school, fate would have it that Kobayashi was now a teacher, and we finally met after years of separation. This revived my old feelings for him once more, and I began writing about my love for him in a journal. My aggressive husband Takeo found my diary one day, and became convinced that I was cheating on him and also embraced the idea that Toshio was not his own son. Takeo was already an extremely jealous and controlling husband to begin with. After I returned home that day, he violently attacked me and pushed me into the wall. Toshio say all this happening, and ran into his closet to hide. I tried to run away but Takeo pushed me down, causing me to sprain my ankle. I was forced to crawl down the stairs and finally made it to the front door, but Takeo was slowly walking behind me and was enjoying my suffering. He grabbed my neck and snapped it, then took me to our bedroom and put me into a trash bag. I was still alive, but was paralyzed and could only make a croaking noise with my throat. Takeo then slashed and stabbed me multiple times, putting me in the attic and leaving me for dead."

"After this, Takeo killed Toshio by drowning him in the bathtub together with Toshio's pet cat. He then ran to Kobayashi's house, killing the teacher's pregnant wife and taking the fetus from her uterus and placing it in a sack. After he runs down the street and slams the sack on the ground in a fit of rage, my ghost appeared from the garbage dumped nearby, and attacks Takeo. Sometime later I was found dead in my attic, Takeo was discovered dead on the nearby street, and Toshio was found in the closet with his cat Mar. Both were dead. Since that terrible and tragic day, everyone who steps into my house gets killed by me, Toshio or Takeo's ghosts. Sometimes Toshio or his cat appears to warn intruders of their impending doom, but by that time it is far too late. The curse is never-ending and shall repeat itself forever. I usually crawl down the stairs, gurgling my now famous cackling sound, all covered in blood and cracking my neck around. This I do to add terror and intimidate all my victims, but it is also how I relive my death over and over again. So be warned and take great caution, and above all else never venture into my house! Many have dared to enter, but no one has left alive!"

Version Two:

Hated and despised by her two most dangerous enemies, Reika Kuze and Mary Worth, Kayako struggles to survive their merciless onslaught as she fights back with all her might, proving to both powerful women that the Grudge Curse is far from over or destroyed. Only one side will emerge victorious after this brutal conflict finally ends, or perhaps Kayako will indeed perish after she takes Reika and Mary to Hell with her, thus ending many years of bitter fighting with the complete destruction of all three entities.
