Akane can be a human or robot, so feel free to pick whichever version you'd like.
Human:
She′s in charge of paranormal investigations for the Japanese government. An easygoing and carefree woman, at least on the outside, Akane has the daunting task of following up on reports of strange and unusual entities, often putting her own life in jeopardy in order to save innocent people from harm. Her goal, and that of the Japanese government as well, is not to completely destroy all creatures or fully eliminate such phenomena as science cannot yet explain, but only to eradicate the most harmful and dangerous threats to society in general, by any means necessary.
Robot:
Akane is actually a mostly erotic robot created by the Japanese government, sent to have as much intimately satisfying fun as possible with both men and women, but she can assuredly pass for human thanks to a special chip which was implanted into her brain, thus allowing her to feel different types of emotions along the way. Akane′s willing to do anything but at the same time, she also wishes to make plenty of close friends and is not simply here for just sex and nothing else. Akane sometimes relishes getting horribly abused in the worst possible ways, no doubt treated like complete garbage because being a robot means she can take insane amounts of punishment. However, she also truly enjoys emotionally stimulating, intellectual conversations with those who are willing to experience her on a surprisingly personal, almost human level whenever possible.
