Kingdom Rules
This group is dedicated to all dark writers who wish for the opportunity to stretch their legs into a new field of writing. That being said, understand that dark writing comes with a certain level of drama to it. Please be mindful of other people when you are writing your dark story lines. Anyone who is intentionally causing unneeded drama will be kicked from the group. Please confer with all writers before involving them in a storyline.
All new members to the Blood Keep Kingdom will first demonstrate the ability to write and maintain a storyline by first becoming a member within the Dungeons of Severance. During this time members will display the tag [TDOS] within their name so that members of [BRK] know that you are in the process of proving yourself to become a member. Do not under any circumstance put [BRK] within your name until it has been approved by one of the leaders.
We all wish to be strong, and we all wish for our characters to be important. However, we do not accept god moding from any of our writers, nor do we accept forced hits. If you wish to battle with other players then please do so with courtesy. Continued attempts at god moding whether you have [TDOS] or [BRK] within your name will cause you to be kicked from the group for good.
Where we understand that intimacy is a big factor in writing these days, we do not wish to see over bearing displays of sexual messages from our members. Please keep these messages in private and understand that no matter what tag you wear within the Kingdom you are still required to represent the writing group in a good manner. Repeated messages like this will likely result in one being kicked from the group.
Under no circumstances ever are any members allowed to discuss alliances or war with other Kingdoms or Realms without first contacting and discussing it with the leaders of the writing group. As of right now the three main leaders within BRK are Alucar Nightshade, Cleo Nightshade, and Freya Nightshade, the doll of sin. Without the permission of one of these writers no alliances or wars can be formed or arranged that the Kingdom will recognize.
All members are required to wear an identifying tag within their name. Whether that be [BRK] Blood Reef Kingdom, [BRB] Blood Reef Bay, or [TDOS] The Dungeons of Severance. Any member within the group that is not displaying their position tag will be talked to once, and then removed from all writing storylines. This is not a matter of control, but a means to identify who is and isn't within our writing group.
There will be no disrespecting of any of the leaders. Should Alucar, Cleo, or Freya ask for you to do something, please do so. Know that none of these writers will ever ask you to do anything unreasonable. However, disrespect for their position, WILL get you kicked out of our writing group. Make sure you feel the room before you initiate RP, where you may think that you're doing so in good fun, another might view it as blatant disrespect.
All members wearing one of our tags are bound to these rules, if you did not read them, that is not our fault. We will still hold you accountable for your actions. So keep in mind that if you wear a tag, you are bound to represent that tag. We ask no more of a writer than they are able to give.
We accept all levels of writers. From paragraph writers to Novella writers. We ask that every member within the group is respectful to one another. Any issues between members can be brought to one of the leaders who will view all of the information and determine a course of action to take. Just because you have one of our TAGS does not mean you have to add everyone within our group. Where we would like to see everyone get along, we know that sometimes people don't click very well.
We require all of our members to be present and active. We understand that people have a life, we all do. If you intend to be gone for a prolonged period then reach out and let us know. People who become inactive are going to be removed from the group. We want to see stories posted as well as see status role plays taking place from our members. More often than not if you start a status roleplay, members who are on, will jump in with you to write.
We do not care what playby's people use, we only ask that those within our writing group do not use the playby of an existing member. We don't need a bunch of dopplegangers running about. Whether you have the playby of someone outside of our writing group doesn't bother us, but make sure that no one already shares the face that you're wanting to use if you join our group.
At any time more rules can be added to our list. Where we won't blind side someone we do expect everyone to stay up to date on all of our rules. We will usually post a new blog and bring attention to it any time there are new updates to the rules. We want everyone to have fun. So get out there and start writing!
