02/24/2016  FAQ F.A.Q are subject to change at any time. Everyone has questions and here we are the answer the most frequently asked questions people have in regards to the DGFT RPG. If you do not see your question here then feel free to send us a question and we will answer it to our best ability.   Question one: What is the setting of the group? Answer: DGFT Rpg After is a group that is set with the events of American Horror, Erotica mixture of the Grimm fairy Tale adult comics  and what is coming up with all the realms combined and the events of once upon a time in Wonderland to the battle against the Wickedness from other realms of the other fairy tale lands. Here our members will be able to watch the show or read up on the Grimm comics online and do their own twists to our one season within the DGFT group. Question two: How many accounts can I have in the group?Answer: Our limit upon first acceptance is just one, but as time goes by you are more than welcome to take on a second character... But we do ask that the character be an original and not canon, so we can give someone else a try for that character but you can still ask to be them if you want. We just ask you make sure you can handle two accounts at the same time being active. If you can’t do it just stay with one. Question three: Is this group a forum based RPG? Answer: Like many groups around here doing the whole forum thing, we understand people are not big fans of forums, so the answer is no. We are not a forum based RPG. Our group is strictly here on role-play-Haven. Our member page which is a separate page strictly for the members.    Question four: I am a original character, am I allowed to audition? Answer: By all means yes you are. Dark Grimm Fairy Tales has so many realms which means all of our worlds are dark and gritty, so there is a high possibility your character could exist, as long as you make the character’s background believable and works with the events of the Dark Grimm fairy tale RPG reminder this is a supernatural concept rpg, so you can die and our Witches, Magic Mirror, Jabbawacky beings of power can bring you back from the dead but for the price of you're soul. Question five: If my desired character had died on in this RPG what do, I do? Answer:  This is a common question and it’s simple. This group is a alternate universe plot. So characters like Cora and Graham who died on the show, or the adults comics are able to be brought back alive again, as long as you create a reason behind how they survived, or if the made a deal with one of the beings of power as stated about this question.  Question six: The character I want is a kid but I don’t want to play one, can I use a older playby for that character? Answer: Only if the owners agree to have that character grow up. For example if the character you are auditioning for is Henry, Grace, Alexandra(Cinderella’s daughter), or Hensel and Gretel we can help you create a plot for that character to have them grow up. But we must approve of the play-by you have in mind for that character and why you are having them grown up. Question seven: My playby is already taken do you accept doubles? Answer: No we do not accept multiple playby’s of our current members. Only reason we would is if our current member has a twin sibling. Question eight:  Is AIM or YIM necessary for this group? Answer: It is not entirely required but we do ask that you at least consider getting either one to keep in touch with the members in case the site itself is down and you can't get to your storylines. We all know that many sites  have been known for having issues like that so we like to keep in touch with our members through AIM Or YIM. Question nine: What are your rules on playby changes? Answer: Essentially, three strikes and you’re out. Remember, every time you undergo a playby change, that also forces us to update the face claim, causes potential clashes, etc. If you do not message the roleplaying group before changing or request to have a face change to fit your own desires you will be dropped. Question ten: How long does it take to accept members?  Answer: Auditions close three days after they were accepted but keep in mind that even if you were the only one who auditioned don't believe that it's automatically yours. We will wait for the right person to audition if needed be regardless of how long it takes. Question eleven: Am I allowed to date outside of the roleplaying group? Answer: Absolutely not we like to keep it IC with our characters whit in the group. Having mains outside of the group just doesn't make any sense, we are more than happy to have help set that up for you by requesting you're desired mains. Relationships are allowed to happen with people who are within our members.  Question twelve: I've had problems with one or more of the owners/members in the past, Can I still audition?Answer: If you are able to move past over what happened in the past then yes you can. Seeing that this group is a drama free place we are more than willing for fresh starts as long as you can write and don't focus on continuing the drama from the past. Question thirteen: I'm a member of another group/I own it/I help the admin. Am I allowed to audition anyway? Answer: Absolutely. We don’t prejudice against other groups, trust us – to us, that’s just all the more experience you have with writing. As long as you stay active, we’re happy for you to do whatever you want on other accounts. Even the owners have been in other groups that they own or co-own.  Question fourteen: I just got accepted but I have to take a break what do I do? Answer:  If you have something coming up that does require you to be gone for a good length of time inform us first before anything so we can add you to the hiatus section of the member blog. However, if you are not back within a reasonable amount of time after you've said you would be, we will assume that you are not returning, and your role will be reopened during the next audition round. Question fifteen: I just got accepted what is the time frame do I have to make my character? Answer: You will have 24 hours to make your page. If you are not able to do it within that time frame ask the owners to help out but once that page is done it's your job to keep it going yourself not the owners. Question sixteen: I am stuck mobile with my character does that effect my chances in being accepted? 02/24/2016  Rules DGFT Rules DGFT Rules are subject to change at any time.  Read these rules before you audition to DGFT. Do not audition if you have not read and signed your name! We will know if you have not read and signed these rules. Failure to do so will result in your hard work audition to be thrown into the trash inbox. If you do not understand a rule, please message us. You MUST always abide by these rules. I {ACTIVITY} | Your character's presence must be available at least 3 days in a week. We understand there is a life outside these computers, but if you are going to audition to an RPG, you need to know  that also comes with full dedication to the group; meaning you must be available enough for us to know you are an active and loyal member. Failure to be active within a long inactivity time period will result in resignation from us. Also, you are not allowed to belong to other RPGs using the same account that is in this group. Your loyalty from within your desired character audition must belong to us, and to us only.  II {STORYLINE}| ~Undecided name~  is currently a season three based group. Our storyline is a mixture of being a free plot at the moment that focuses on the battle of good vs evil between Enchanted Evil Queen, Magic Mirror, and Snow White who has joined forces to bring down the hero's and making sure evil wins by destroying the one person who activated the first curse in the first place; who is the Evil Queen and to control the dark one himself.  What happens next is up to our writers. This group is also an alternate universe plot where characters who have died on the show are allowed to return to life like Graham, Neal ect or if you desire have it where that character never died.  III {RELATIONSHIPS} | You are not allowed to date outside of this group,  you must keep it within the Once upon a time verse. We are also gay friendly, so if your character is gay/lesbian/bisexual, that will be permitted. Any canon roles will determine their own sexual orientation however they please because we simply do not know their real background story. Same goes for the originals. We also ask you all to not audition just so you can land yourself a specific character like Hook. We are not a matchmaking group so please keep that in mind when auditioning.   IV {ORIGINALS} | We welcome all originals from within the Once upon a time verse! You know what it takes to be an original...creativity! So, please, do not take a background story from a real character, put a different name on it and claim it as your own work. We all love the characters, but two of the same exact personality/story will just get boring. If you wish to audition, you MUST use the ORIGINAL APPLICANTS ONLY audition form located just below the regular audition form in our homepage. If you do not use the original application form, your audition piece will not be considered because you failed to follow these simple rules.  V {VERSE} | Crossovers are welcomed here but we are picky about what sort of other verses we allow to audition. For examples, Teen wolf, Vampire Diaries, Harry Potter characters are not allowed to audition as they would not have anything to do with Once upon a time. Game of Thrones, Reign, and verses are allowed to audition as long as that character has a creative back story that leads them to have a counterpart in Storybook. If you character's story does not make sense we can help you out but all you have to do is ask.  VI {WRITING STYLE} | We are a literate group, but we are also friendly so we won't torment you if you make a written mistake here and there. UMC is strictly a Multi-Para/Novella role playing group, NO ONE-LINERS. Your audition piece shall require AT THE LEAST 3 paragraphs, no less and from then on you can write however much you want to (3+ paragraphs). Each paragraph must at least contain 6 sentences. Please use spell check and correct any grammatical errors before sending an audition, and be as neat on your writing as possible. Remember, you are trying to impress us. We are not going to become so harsh about this, but we will try to enforce literate writers on this group as much as we can. We do not consider us an elite group where you have to be perfect but we do want people who know how to write properly.  VII {MULTIPLE MEMBERSHIP} |  Every member is allowed another role after their first acceptance into the group. However, you MUST get the approval of the owners first because we will determine if you are active enough to hold two accounts, responsibility  and dedication to the group and it's members. Activity is very important to us, so if you cannot keep up with one, let alone two accounts, do not think about claiming another. If you for any reason cannot be active with both accounts, you must choose to let go of one.  Secondly if you are playing a main role (such as Emma, Snow White, Regina Mills), and you want to be another main character you must ask the owners first to get their approval and if that specific role is taken don't give up as we have a long list of characters, get creative. If you wish to claim a second role in this group, you must audition for it. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO COMPLETE THE ENTIRE FORM, but you must send us a starter piece with 3 paragraphs. Just a short one. We already should know you're a good writer, we just want to make sure you are going to be good at roleplaying that certain other character.  VIII {EDITING} | Your profile must always look neat and organized. Refrain from stealing other people's work and making your font so small that makes it hard to read. If you aren't gifted with making layouts, we suggest you to take a look at our Affiliates for Resource sites that provide premade layouts. IX {APPLICATION} | Every question in the application form must be neatly and completely answered. We don't want to receive audition forms that are hard to follow, so make sure to proofread before sending it in. Allow 3 or 4 days for a callback answer. We do not guarantee you a spot on the group even if you do know the owners as we are not playing favorites, unless told otherwise. You are allowed to audition more than once if not accepted. Once you audition for a character, that role will open and we shall give other people interested in that role a chance to audition as well. The opening of a role should only last for 3 days. My best advice is that you make your starter as interesting and new as possible, so that way you get a bigger chance of being accepted. We enjoy the most creative writers. X  {Jealousy} We will not deal with jealousy in this RPG unless it is to do with IC story-lines please maintain it, keep under wraps, we don't need OOC jealousy. XI { Mategamming} Not acceptable whatsoever, if we see it you will be removed from our group.  Drama & Harassment Is Not tolerated. 02/24/2016  DGFT Main BIO Dark Grimm Fairy tale is a mixture and concept with Grimm bothers characters in which Disney borrowed, with a twist of American Horror. There are many realms within the Grimm world that connects with the magical Mirror, he is also connected with the Enchanted Evil Witch. Serious,creative writers will be the only ones allowed onto my page Very Dark and Mature themes. main page bio >After serving time for Snow White’s attempted murder, the Evil Queen is about to get a makeover. Just what a queen needed, she expected this after spending time behind bars. Thinking she is being sent to a luxurious spa that will enable her to restore her beauty and recapture her title, Fairest of All, yes she mange to resort all of her beauty along with her title in tacked. She also finds herself at a Faraway realm center that caters to Fairytale Landers who were as evil as she is. Meeting all the Evil villains and gaining there trust along with there oath to work with her.  That sealed the deal with all the Evil Villains; promising them there own kingdoms land to rule. There was a calibration for her come back, and her regaining her title. Upon confronting her love-hate relationship with her magic mirror and the demons god teacher from her past Hade’s her mentor in all black magic. She is sent back to the world of happily-ever-after realm. Her goal: to discover the true meaning of playing the ones who hated her, who had imprison her after all these years making a come back was easy. With the aid from Magic Mirror, Jabbwacky, Queen of Hearts, Queen of Spades.  The Evil Queen has taken your favorite character, gave them a slight mental disorder with a curse and a phobia, and sent them to an insane far away realm called the forgotten worlds with no chance of escape. "Haha, so much for a happily ever after ending for these insignificant fools" the Evil queen gets her revenge after all these years. "No jail is strong enough to hold me, no prison solid enough to keep me in its boundaries " as the Evil Queen cast her wicket unbreakable spell over the Queen’s, princess, prince, kings of fairyland.   So, as you have wetness the Evil Queen’s intentions taken a twisted turn. A new inspiration obsession. Her assignment: to work for herself and demanding all to entertain her with there made up dark twisted fairytale s In Waiting. The evil queen finds herself rebuilding her life again finds herself irresistibly drawn to Snow White.  A creature of beauty now a new obsession for lust the exquisite stepdaughter, known as Snow. Will the Evil Queen who had no heart, end up with a broken heart? Fallen in love, lust with Snow white, Magic Mirror, and her mentor Hades.
