Immortal Mother -

The nights were beginning to get a little cooler but that didn't matter to Amelia even when winter came she would go out at night in just a light sheer night dress. As Amelia slept during the day her servants would take care of the home since most times she would bring her victims home and the aftermath would have to be cleaned up. Her servants were very loyal some had been with the Drake family for generations so Amelia knew she could trust them. The home she kept was a good size not as big as her brothers but she hated wasted space since she spent most of her time in the quarters under the home. If she was to up during the day which was very often her the blinds would be locked shut mechanically something her older brother Isaac had designed to help when a vampire had restless days something Amelia knew to well of some days she just lounged around her home reading , watching TV, basically what humans did.

On this one particular day the servants had gone out to mind the garden in the back she kept a beautiful rose garden that had light stringed along the sides so at night it gave her humans a more at home feel about it. Amelia at times did clean herself specially her own private chamber no one was ever really allowed in there not even her brothers when they visited as she was rearranging her room for what seemed the millionth time she heard on of the girls yell out for her “Miss Drake ...Miss Drake there is a baby out here” Amelia headed down the stairs quickly “Bring it in the house” she replied loudly. The women carried in a basket with a white embroider blanket laying deep in it was a little pale baby “where did you find it” she asked reaching down to pick it up wrapping the infant in her arms “its a baby girl Miss Drake and we were out just swiping up when we heard some crying” Amelia rocked the infant in her arms gazing into its eyes right then she baby gave what seemed to be a smile “go now to the store and buy everything one needs for a baby formula, bottles, diapers, anything baby you but it!” the women took off leaving Amelia with such a precious gift

A decision had to be made would she keep the child or not as she walked around the empty house the pros and cons went through her head if she kept her she knew the child would have a good life being loved and giving the essential things in life she would always be around not growing old to leave her alone either... but on the other hand there will come a time that she would need to explain why she never got old and why she would never go out in the day. All this weighed on her mind but just looking down and seeing now a sleeping baby in her arms Amelia knew the answer. “I will name you Anastasia” she leaned down giving a soft kiss on her forehead ..Amelia was now a mother .
