Dark Emperor Etherus Darksoul
During the time of the ancient lords, a war began to wane across the world. This world, at least in this kingdom was called Lothran. During this war, Etherus was displaced in a different time realm with nothing to do with what he knew. A spell was cast and Etherus step into this sign on the ground where he end up in the forest of the dark root garden. making his way into the valley of drakes, blue dragon-like creatures that shot lightning from their mouth instead of fire. Entering a cave and leading to an underground city blightown, a city now infected with toxic waters and across from the toxic river is another cave cover in a spiderweb. This place had eggs hanging from the ceiling and walls, as well crawling humans with eggs on their back feeding the nourishment to the smaller eggs that later will be hung on the walls for further treatment. the place is Quelaag's domain a giant open hall-like throne where Que rules from there protecting her sister.
Etherus found a sign and he touch it taking him far into the past where everything started, from there he witness the terror of the kingdom of Izalith, etherus went further back and see what actually set this in motion. Izalith tried remaking the fire into a new life, but when out of control. At this time, Etherus was trapped in the realm and when the chaos flame when out of control he went into the group of sisters and tried protecting them but was too late. Que was dying and so was her sister, during this time etherus heals her but the changes on her body were already done. He slowly healed her mind and let her know he is there for her.
Que accepted the fact that she was turned into the lower half of a spider and came to love it. Etherus removed most of the lava from Que's domain and place her mother and two sisters to trap the fire of chaos under their protection costing them to be chained forever. Etherus in a attend to heal Que sis, notice that her sister still wants to help the people of blightown since they were sick with toxic pus that spread from the domain. Etherus spoke to Que about this and Que warn her sister not to do so. But still, her sister did anyways and safe the people of her kingdom but got sick along the way. Etherus and Que Married in the cathedral of Izalith for 2000 years spend their time healing the kingdom and the people.
Soon after the consummation of their marriage, Etherus impregnated Que, and at that moment, etherus was taken back into the future banishing him from the kingdom. Now etherus find Que again as he stands by the domain of his wife. uniting once more and rekindle their love and rulership of the realm of flames.

Izalith was once a city constructed in the undergrounds of Lordran, in what seems to be a natural cave system. It is important to say that it also seems to be directly below an archtree. The dravidian theme of the city is unique in Lordran, as were the flame sorceries that the Witches of Izalith dominated and probably imparted there. Izalith is only accesible through Demon Ruins, which were probably the outskirts of the city.
At its core, a dome has been built in the shape of a Kiln where the Witch of Izalith attempted to desperatedly recreate the then fading First Flame. The ritual was a failure and it instead distorted the Witch into a being of chaos and fire, the Bed of Chaos. The chaos flames brought ruin to the city, killing and mutating its population and wildlife. Chaos demons were born from this new bed of life, as well as the art of Pyromancy.
There is lava all around the city, in the outskirts and in the ruins. While the lava seems to have been making a big role regarding the chaos flames and the mutations, it is unknown if the molten rock is itself a product of the failed attempt of the Witch. Izalith is deep underground, and it wouldn't be strange for lava pools to appear at these depths. The Flame sorcery imparted by the Witches can also be related to the lava, even before the creation of the art of Pyromancy.

The Chaos Queen
Quelaag is one of the daughters of the Witch of Izalith.
Quelaag once lived with her mother, the Witch of Izalith, and her siblings in the ancient city of Izalith. After the Flame of Chaos incident, all but her sister Quelana were transformed into demons. She and one of her other sister, Quelana, escaped the worst of it and became spider-like creatures beneath their torsos. Fleeing their demonic kin, they climbed to the base of Blighttown.
Chaos Witch Quelaag's personality types are Extraverted, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging, which means she's always in charge, competitive, highly motivated and focused person who sees just about everything by focusing on the bigger picture. She thrives by setting long-term goals and making highly analytical decisions, and she often does well in high-stress leadership roles.
This means she tends to see things in black and white, or by the numbers. In personal relationships she is fair, measured, and supportive. Not only does this make her great at commanding things, but it makes her good at leading others, as well. If she tells you to do something, you better do it, because she has no problem with kicking your ass if it's not done properly.
Quelaag's fire attacks are also great for melting things. She can burn through any enemy that she wants. She can also use her fire magic to summon a giant, flaming skull that will explode on impact, with a good amount of fire damage.
Best of all is her Firestorm spell, though. While theit may seem that the area of effect is random, this is actually a lie. while she casts the effect, a tornado will form behind her and start spinning around. Soon, the tornado will increase in size and move faster. Eventually it'll reach a point where it'll completely surround Quelaag and turn into a fiery vortex that sucks everything in, reducing all enemies to ashes.

The Demonic Ruins of Izalith
The Demon Ruins were, before the Chaos scarred the city, most probably, the outskirts of Izalith, home to the famous Witch of Izalith. When the Chaos imploded in the kiln of the city, this area was severely damaged by it, leaving only ruins and mutating the population into chaos demons.
Accessible from Quelaag's domains, which appears to have been a church. Further ahead, the place is terribly deformed, with writhing bodies and terrifying harbingers of death scattering the landscape. An enormous lava pool, emanating from Ceaseless Discharge hides below it a grand army of demons. The mutated, giant Ceaseless Discharge, son of the Witch of Izalith mourns the death of one of her sisters here.
The battle between the armies of Gwyn and the demons probably happened here. Gwyn was defeated, and his soldiers were charred black.
Down the ruins, Kirk, Knight of Thorns invades any trespassers in the heat of the molten rock. Burrowing Rockworms, Taurus and Capra demons guard the remaining edification, where within the Firesage Demon can be found. In the deepest part of the ruins the Centipede Demon rests in a large lava pool.
With the slaying of the Centipede Demon, the Orange Charred Ring can be acquired that once belonged to Ceaseless Discharge, gifted by her sisters, to ease his agony from his fiery sores, allowing to traverse the lava.
The gates of Lost Izalith lie closed but there is another route to the city after the defeat of the Centipede Demon.
