the son of Qi Jiguang, Qi Yuan with the style name of Laohu(tiger) was a martial arts master and teacher of Quanfa along with several weapons styles taught to him by his father, and also a general in the Ming Army, which had was engaged in the Imijin War with Japan in Korea at the time.
