"Oh hello there! I′m the Doctor, just the Doctor no need for other names or any of that nonsense. I′m a time lord from the planet Galifray. We are a race of beings that watch over time but me, well I′m the naughty one. I like to get involved. I travel through space and time in my Tardis, my telephone box shaped ship that travels through a time vortex. It′s all a bit complicated but as I′m sure you have heard, it′s bigger on the inside! Yes yes, they all say that. So I guess I should also tell you I′m much older than I look, see we time lords have a special habit of regenerating giving us a new body so we can live a very long time! I′m also a genius. No really, I′m fantastic! Now here is where it gets tricky. You see I′m actually the Doctor from a different dimension, the dimension where earth is called Free World! It′s a nice place but they haven′t seen the rest of the galaxy yet! Give them time they′ll get their! But then what′s a Doctor without a companion? My main companion is Heather Song Harkness. She is from a different dimension to me, but has ended up here in the free world dimension where she travels with me. I also have a daughter, Jenny, out there somewhere. It′s a long story, but I suspect that I′ll be seeing her soon. Until then remember, bow ties are cool".
