 Most know the story of the Little Mermaid from their childhood. Including how Ursula was Vanessa in disguise and almost destroyed Ariel and Prince Eric among many that day. What most do not know is Ursula stole the look of Vanessa from another mermaid named Caroline. She was the sole survivor of a forgotten sister city of Atlantis that was destroyed in an undersea earthquake. She also made a deal to restore her city in exchange to be Ursula's prisoner. It wasn't until she signed the contract that she found out she had been tricked and betrayed. Ursula herself had destroyed the city with no intention of any resurrections planned. So for many a moon Caroline was the forgotten captive of the sea witch. Though when Ariel defeated Ursula, Caroline was freed and received an unexpected gift, immortality. Caroline, who now many call Vanessa thanks to Ursula, has spent her centuries saving innocents lost at sea and trying to redeem herself from all the wickedness the sea witch did with her likeness.
